On a brighter note for NTFC  the ladies team are through to their second cup final of the season after beating Leicester city 2-1 who are currently top in the division higher than the ladies team.Congratulations to them and good luck in both finals.

Nice to see some success from a team in Claret, just a thought who is the manager?

I think I am right in saying it's Gary Moss and Steve Croft there first season in charge.

Bumping this one - the Cobblers Ladies begin their campaign at Sixfields on Sunday, September 16 with FREE admission. Kick off at 2pm I believe.

Hopefully a chance to raise the profile of the Ladies' team - the attendance will hopefully top any Checkatrade Trophy attendances!

Seriously? My missus is in her forties, and she still enjoys a night out with the girls.

Have they rearranged their opponents, the Banbury game was cancelled?

Okidoki, but that wasn't clear in their tweet.
"Unfortunately our game against Banbury this Sunday has been cancelled so we are looking for another pre-season friendly. We will are happy to travel"

Best of luck to the ladies team but I'm sure they appreciate they will only achieve parity with the mens version once we constantly call for the manager to go and every players' mistakes are analysed to the minutest degree. (And they get loads of money)

Grin  very witty;  I watched part of the Woman's England v Denmark game yesterday and if that is standard displayed they have a long way to go before they achieve parity. Thought the atmosphere was reminiscent of a ladies hockey match!

So which league will they be in now? Which teams will they be playing, and all home games at Sixfields?

It depends on the team:

Arsenal Women
Everton Ladies
Doncaster Belles
Millwall Lionesses
Newcastle Slappers

etc....
