Have to giggle again...one poster a STH, another who appears to get to the odd game. Guess which one asks "Have you seen them?"  Grin

What's even more worth a giggle is a STH who thinks two thirds of that team actually care

From a punting point of view posh are 8/11
Let’s be honest they should be 1/2 or shorter to beat us.

Just about my plans...though not the Spoons! Little craft ale bar just down from Spoons!

Yeah had to settle with that as I didn't notice any other pubs open before 12....

Then fill your boots...
The more loyal amongst us might be looking for a viable bet and I'm going for 9/4 Cobblers win with draw no bet.

Must say the thought of them -1 did slightly interest me. But I'd not feel good winning money off Peterborough United on any occasion and certainly not against us. Do not blame you at all though Shoey.

Bet365 Straight win is 10/3 and a 0-1 Cobblers win is a tempting 12/1

I really don’t know if I want to go to this game .
I may just post the tickets back to the manager with a nice note attached .
I can’t take going there and getting stuffed , embarrassed and relegated .
Get rid of this buffoon . He has lost the dressing room and the entire club.

I’d go for all out defence. Make it ugly make it a battle and pray. The problem is half the team don’t give a ****. We go down and they all go back to there clubs.

GOOD THINKING SIR. I AM WITH YOU ON THIS ONE. IF YOU CAN'T WIN (WE CAN'T) DON'T LOSE.

The teams around us are picking up points, not cause they are good sides but because they have realised they are in a relegation battle and we still haven’t .

Why do I get the sinking feeling that we will be defending a 0-3 deficit at half-time?

            ONLY 0-3?

Personally I'd go with:

                          Sh*t

  Lazy       Useless      Slow      Past It

Mediocre   Wage Thief   Donkey  Cry Baby

              Wasteful       Pathetic
Close to my team however I’d go for Shirker instead of Cry Baby & Pitifull in for Pathetic

Absolutely right .
We have players balling in the dressing room and they have men that want to fight .
Anyone crying after Friday needs to man up top acting like a p*ssy on the pitch as well as off it

Kick them while they are down.
Why do people assume footballers don't care? It's our Saturday afternoon but their life

I am guessing that the football community is much like any other work-place in terms of the characters.  I'm sure we've all had the pleasure of working with folk who are brilliant at telling everyone else things like: "I'm too good for this place", "if not for me, this place would have gone under", "nobody works harder than me", "you're stealing a living off my hard work"......

In fact, come to think of it, throughout my many years of playing football (albeit in my earlier days, at a very high amateur standard - playing at grounds with terracing & stands, real spectators/fans, and "Home" & "Away" dressing rooms with treatment tables, etc, etc..... ), I used to hear almost exactly the same thing said by big-ego players.

The strange thing is that, to an outsider, the view is completely different.  These characters are actually rubbish at what they do.  Their biggest contribution is to drag the rest of the work/playing team down.

I just wonder how many of those types of characters are amongst our squad of 734 "professionals" ?
