In the hospitality box behind me at the United game last night was Tony Mowbray, Gary Pallister and Bryan Robson. Oh yeah and David Moyes signed my programme.

In Clerkenwell today, struggling to pay his parking fee by text message, I bumped into Nicholas Parsons.
He has an old Ford Fiesta, in case anyone is interested.  Cheesy

Was it because he took longer than sixty seconds?

Sat across the aisle from me on the train back from Dagenham was Nick Hewer of The Apprentice and Countdown. He got off at Northampton whilst I continued to Long Buckby. According to his wikipedia page he lives in Northants.

He was sat next to me on the train. Wasn't impressed that it stopped at every single station between London and Northampton. Not sure where he lives but as we approached the station he asked "is this Northampton?" Which suggests he may not be local.

For the more educated BBC3/4 viewers amongst you, Dan Cruickshank and Dr Lucy Worsley were filming in the basement of the building that I am working on in Clerkenwell today. I am assured that the yet to be named programme, featuring a cameo from the funny man with the big hammer and drill,(aka Betamax), will be broadcast sometime in August.

Well, despite going to my 9th Glastonbury last week I still carry on my glorious tradition of only ever seeing the singer from Franz Ferdinand and the singer from The Noisettes walking around "off duty" down there. And even the Franz Ferdinand guy was handing out flyers for their secret gig down there but my rule is if they're on stage it doesn't count. If they're in the crowds you can put yourself down for a point.

I'm on 2 points.

I've never even seen Eavis in his shorts off stage!

Although if you add in all of the other festivals I've been to, another 7, I'm still on 2  Undecided
