Annie Mac Saturday! Tried to have a look at Dolly but it was the busiest I've ever seen it, couldn't even get round enough to see a screen. So we went off to see who we were going to watch anyway at that time (I was at the front for the Stones last year so couldn't see the extent of the crowd)

Stones last year was (obviously) massive. Only saw the second half of the set due to them clashing with Major Lazer, and trying to get remotely in view of the stage was a mission.

Gutted I missed it this year, Franz Ferdinand are my favourite band as well. 'Secret' gig would have been too good.

I was about 5 or 6 from the front for the Stones, more by accident than design. Went down for primal Scream and just wandered forward, much easier than i thought it'd be. Major Lazer good live? I'm seeing them at Bestival later this year

Yeah Major Lazer are well worth the watch. Been to see them three times now and they're definitely better with the bigger stages. I almost bought a ticket to Bestival on the basis of them being there!

Good, good. I've kept my eye on them since I first heard Pon de Floor at a 2 Many Djs gig about 5 years ago now, maybe longer it seems. I remember thinking "What the fuk is this?! This is amazing" when I got home a few days later I spent ages trying to find a set list to figure out what it was!

I was devastated when I heard Beyonce had rented it.

In the celebrity hotspot that is Clerkenwell today, as Gok Wan walked/skipped/paraded past, he nearly knocked over my mug of tea, whilst I was sitting on the steps by the green at lunchtime.
He was profusely apologetic, but I just couldnt help laughing at the big drama queen.
He does strike me as the sort of person who would go into meltdown, if a pigeon landed within twenty feet of him.  Grin

Sounds like he making a pass at you.  Did you give him your number?  Did he give you any fashion tips?

In that case, I would have to say that I admire his taste.  Grin

Somebody called Brenda Blethyn who is apparently the star of a programme I don't know called Vera, which is currently being filmed in the dodgy pub across the road from the office in Hartlepool.

David Sullivan in his subtle bright red Rolls Royce, reg DS10 WHU, passed me on the M1 this morning on his way to Stoke. Not sure how much of his subtle bright red Rolls Royce, reg DS10 WHU, will make it back to east London tonight after the day in Stoke however.

At lunchtime today, walking down Clerkenwell Road, in the general direction of Farringdon Station, whilst looking very lost and at the same time very smug, was Hugh Dennis.
I get to see a lot of people whilst working down here!
