I took the train to the Yeovil match and Nick Hewer got off with me in Northampton.

I didn't know he was that way inclined!

I saw Nicky Adams and Ricky Holmes in The Grosvenor Centre on Monday early evening.
Struck me how young they both looked, then it dawned on me how old I was...
Funny our perception of footballers isn't it? I think it is because we all looked up to players when we were kids and somehow as we get older we are still looking up, despite the fact that most us are now far older than the players.

I've often thought this - whenever you see a player out and about they look so much younger up close than they do on the pitch. Bigger too! I'm of average height and I've walked past players that look tiny on the pitch next to some of the bigger players but are either the same height as me or taller! I am taller than Ricky Holmes though (just).  Grin

I'm nothing if not prolific am I?
Les Dennis frantically trying to buy tram tickets for his family at Media City Uk Salford earlier today. Tram left with me on board but unfortunately without Les.

Saw Mark Owen of Take That and his wife Emma Ferguson out shopping in Petersfield yesterday. Surprised by how vertically challenged he is...

He's tiny, isn't he? I saw him a few years ago at an airport looking remarkably embarrassed as they rifled through his bag at the security check in!

Come on all you stalkers what's happened to my favourite thread on this section of THE?
Get them mincers peeled. Very slim picking on the celeb spotting front so far this year.

I was with Matt Murray, Brian McDermott and Dave Beasant amongst others on Wednesday at Hogwood Park, Reading's training ground.

Not brilliant, but the best I can muster.

The opposition coach in Little Boy Binger's match this afternoon was the actor Glenn Lamont, who played Richie Carter in Emmerdale.  So I'm told at least.

Nope - alive and well at 81. Inherited a family fortune and stately home. Doing better than you or I reckon!

Nick Hewer lives in Northamptonshire.

He nearly ran me over as he came out of Sixfields tip a couple of seasons ago.
