Earlier today here in Frankfurt I saw a couple of people go up to a guy outside a cafe, shake hands and pose for a selfie.
The guy was around mid 60s darkish grey hair tanned with sunglasses.
No idea who he was but I reckon he is famous in Germany. Smiley

Slim pickings for the celeb spotters lately.
Come on get stalking folks.
Might be some good opportunities in the coming weeks with two televised games coming up.

I passed Alastair Brownlee out running yesterday.

Just to clarify, he was running, I drove past him in the car.

"comedian" Josh Widdicombe, walking in the general direction of City, university of london, this lunchtime.
He was yapping away on his phone, and not looking where he was going. Just like most other people then!

Steve Morison the former Cobbler, don't know if he qualifies as famous, but he was at the St Crispins street fair in Abington St with his family today. He wasn't celebrating when he saw the prices of the rides ! Grin

I took the family to that there Norwich today as it's Young Baldy's birthday. Who should we see walking up Magdalen Street with his lady friend but Melvyn Bragg. They went into the Wine Press in Wensum Street. Both my dear wife and my mother in law thought he looked smaller than he does on telly. However, I thought that he looked taller. This argument is still raging 5 hours after the event and is getting out of hand! Young Melvyn has a lot to answer for!

If you take in the Billy Connolly factor I would say he was about five foot nine.

You would expect the BigYin to be taller than six foot but there you go.

Mrs Orman said he was at least six foot six when she met him. Maybe he has shrunk?
