Yep, good for him. With Frank Fielding having been on the bench last year, that's two former loanees who have made the squad

"2Former Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell believes ex-Blades defender Kyle Walker - who has just received his first call-up to the England squad for Wednesday's friendly with Denmark - can be better than right-back rival Glen Johnson, who plays for Liverpool. Walker is currently on loan at Aston Villa from Tottenham. - talk sport

I'm not surprised. Johnson's s***e.
Martin Kelly will be the future England right-back anyway. Anyone see how comfortably he kept Cashley in his bottom on Sunday?

Does anyone still think international friendlies are a good thing?
Tonights game against Denmark has to be one of the most pointless games of football ever, nothing good can come of this game!!!!

Very pointless i agree....
Big Nose Southgate makes a good point though....if England didn't arrange a friendly for tonight like all the other countries....then we'd be lambasted for poor preperation for the next qualifier...

... I'm also looking forward to seeing Wilshere start, he's gonna be some player for us. Shame about the other ten.
