Assume some of the current squad may occasionally read this forum? I’m just wondering if some of the more eloquent among our community have a message for the players prior to what some may argue is our biggest game the season and perhaps years?

If a member of the opposite team has the ball, you are actually allowed to try and tackle them.

Try to pass the ball to a team mate, it's surprising how much that can help.

I just hope that the players dont read this particular thread, after all, we were asked for an articulate opinion; not (a few) gross insults masquerading as an opinion.
ps not all - Dan's opinion is relatively moderate and to the point. Still, that's what a Uni Education does for you.

Press, press, press, and press again! This is League 1, where work rate can often be the difference between success and failure, and - on paper at least - you are all players capable of being successful at this level. But you've got to want it!
Oh, and you should all get together and decide on the strongest/most effective eleven, and a preferred system of play. Then get the bloody manager to stick with it for more than 90 minutes. Stop worrying about how the opposition set up to play, get out there Monday, get on the front foot, and make those blue scumbags worry about NTFC!
Finally, it is in your power to have the fans with you for every minute of every match. Get out on that pitch, and be first!

grotesque Insulting football masquerading as a performance you mean? My message to the majority of these wage theives would be dont move your family homes or put your kids in local schools just yet, or re evaluate your usefulness to a team that needs to fight their way out of the basement division at first time of asking and frigging stay out of it.

It would be horrible for them if they read it…they'd get really upset. And start crying again!

Enjoy next season in Div 1, when you trigger the no relegation clause in your contracts and then sign for a club with ambition

Precisely - if we go down we (or some) on here will have deserved it. Some of the comments have been absolutely dire. Not just on this thread but others too.
