You'd think Graham Carr should have some influence on this. That's why he's there isn't he to help on football matters?

I think Carr being given a title at the club was akin to Buchanan being picked against Charlton, playing to the crowd

Sammo does say it as it is on the radio , and if he came on here with those opinions, the happy clappers would hound him off !
However , it’s one thing identifying what we can all see and another thing building a team.
He won’t be the next manager and hasn’t done very well as a manager at local level either.
Great bloke though and it would be great to see what he would say to the dressing room

By all accounts Carr was the main supporter of getting JFH in the first place.

Oxford, Southend and Fleetwood will stay up, MK have every chance. All bar Oxford have looked dead and buried at various stages post Christmas.

Barnet were 8 points off safety when they made the change, like us they waited until too late. I have no idea on Grimsby, didn’t they sack the previous guy early in the season because the6 weren’t in the play offs? In which case this is irrelevant to us unless you’re saying we sacked JED too early?

Right now I would say that this will be the bottom four at the end of the season..

Oxford
Milton Keynes
Northampton
Bury

Probably won't but based on games to play and who against that's what I think. Walsall fifth bottom unless we somehow beat them, if so swap them and Oxford.

This can’t continue for very long. Can’t defend, can’t score and can’t win, tactics are awful and now Fans calling  for the managers head to roll publicly.

Changing the manger is all about timing and there are a fair few who are currently jobless and were doing a far better job than Jimmy is doing.

Oxford won’t go down, I’ve also got a horrible feeling that MK won’t, but they definitely would have under the previous guy. I do think Walsall will go down, you should have used them as your example of why sacking a manager is baaad mmmm’kay  Wink

f*** what Carr thinks! He can do one aswell if he wants and take JFH with him. We are going down with a wimper. Change the manager now while we still have a fighting chance.

I do believe he was stabbed in the back after assembling a great squad at Corby.

Would you trust KT to choose the next manager, after the last 3 choices???

totally academic question. You gave no choice in who would choose?

Regarding Walsall.

No, just because they are the worst team I have seen play this year, yes...including us.  Wink

Brady's brain is going to be very useful. We all need to be 100% behind the escape attempt because Hasselbaink's sacking is probably 3 games too late. Rejoice! We have a window of opportunity.

There'll be plenty more managers available in the summer and we now have some breathing space. Austin is in a spot akin to a goalkeeper in a penalty shoot out - perform the miracle and become a hero or drift away relegated but forgotten about.

When we won promotion with Wilder, Alan Knill rightly got some of the credit. On that basis, should Austin take some of the blame for our position now?

That said I am glad that we are giving him a chance to show us what he can do and we are not appointing another new face at this point in time.
