Aside from the DoB error..... .... that is absolutely fantastic news. Having young, local lads involved has to be good all round. Their enthusiasm and desire will hopefully give a few "established" players a bit of a jolt. And wouldn't it be great if the lad Whaler replaced Grimes, and showed us all that we do have someone in our squad who can take a proper dead-ball kick? Kudos to Mr.Austin for getting two stars of the future involved! |

As soon as we are either "safe-ish" or down, then get them kids in the side. It's the players that we already have had in the team that have gotten us where we are. Why should these "cowboys" have any more right to pick up their playing bonuses than young, fresh, eager talent? In fact, why not just "blood" a couple now? If things get tough in a game, it wont matter about the odd red-card or two for removing the creative players from the opposition..... after all, we have another 732 players ready to be included in the line-up for the next game.....  |

He's not the most encouraging person at the Club with younger players and that's putting it mildly. You need more of a connect between 1st team and what's coming through. This has been our failure as a club for years." |

JJOT is in their team. Pierre has been back in training for a week or so I think but he'll be a long way from being fit after the best part of 3 months out. With no reserve games I'd be surprised if we see him again this season to be honest. It is unlikely that a centre back will be given a couple of 15/20 minute run outs in games. |
