HUGE game today, get a win and hope prevails, lose and the fat lady sings. Personally I'm expecting the latter, but you never know.

This season has taught me to expect a comfortable Plymouth win today but in the unlikely event of a Cobblers win I hope we fill the away end at Walsall next week with fans in fine voice. It could be a great day out to remember.
Come on Cobblers, do the business today and let’s all get on it next Saturday.

Expecting a high scoring game today...got a sneaky feeling for Town 3-2 with a penalty winner late on.

Will happily take any kind of win today, we will do well to get a point I think.
Hopefully we have a go at them and keep it up, rather than a quick first five minutes and then retreat back into our own half for the rest of the game.
Be interesting to see if Crooks is fit enough to make the eleven, and if Sammy get the spot behind Long.

1st minute goal off the arse of the ref from a hacked clearance by their goalie then 97 more minutes off constant pressure on us. Frayed nerves and knawed fingernails.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Win today and the game against Walsall could be one of the legendary away fixtures? Pull that off and can you imagine what it will be like against Oldham?

Shorts or no shorts, that is the question.

I would rather see Bunney on the left than Powell. He would offer more defensively and at least as much going forward.

Is that really going to be Hoskins up front on his own with jjot supporting - 2 non strikers in a game which we must win and score goals? A damning indictment on Long and van veen if they can’t get in for this.

It's a game we mustn't lose. Playing Hoskins as a lone striker makes sense. We have options on the bench if needed. We have to keep a clean sheet and cannot afford to go gung-ho from the start.

We’ve gotta score at some point (probably twice!) and not sure about mustn’t lose. There’s no way 7 points would be enough with our GD.

I agree - if the great escape is on we need 3 points today to get the momentum building. My concern about Hoskins up front is that his pace is his biggest weapon but by all accounts Plymouth like to sit deep and counter, if there’s no space for Hoskins his skills aren’t going to create chances.
