I've been reading Walsall and Oldham's forums today and their fans are all pretty much resigned to relegation.

I'm not sure if I'm happy I now have some hope or if I would rather be resigned to our fate like they are.

IF we start well the fans could turn which would work in our favour, that's if their forums are a good gauge of the  general consensus

Pretty sure Dean Austin came out after Saturday saying we're going hunting in the last two games; to hunt teams down.

Has a bit more about him, than JFH when it comes to speaking to the media it seems.

At the end of Austin’s post-match interview he was asked if he believed we’d stay up and he answered:

”Anything is possible, we’ve got two great games for us and people are going to be having a little look now. They’ll be looking over their shoulders because we’re hunting. We’re going hunting and we are going to hunt these down.”

Just got back in time, from that there Laandon, to get some beers from Morrisons, unpack my bags, repack them, ready for a long weekend away on the p1ss.
Ticket sorted, shirts ironed, boots polished. For the first time in ages, I am truly looking forwards to this.
Gentlemen, it is hunting time.

We've planned to tick off the usual pubs- Wellington, Post Office Vaults and the Shakespeare. Think we're going to get the 14.27 train which will definitely be heaving with Villa fans. It'll be a great day.
If you get the 14.12 from New Street, it goes straight there, only one stop and bypassing Aston and Witton! 😉

1000 Trade Winds, Rock n Roll House and Rose & Crown all close in Jewellery Quarter after. All close together.
Actually, might have got the names wrong - but something like that!  Grin

The one thing to remember on Saturday is that we are fragile .
We are not world beaters and we are vulnerable when going behind .
Let’s make sure we get behind the lads if we go one or two down . Hold grudges to the end of the season .

By my reckoning we have only come from behind to win once since our League One return. That was against Walsall in December!

8,000 tickets sold according to Walsall, not sure if that is home fans only or includes the away contingent.

The ground holds just under 11000 so the 8000 plus our 2/00 means that they are nearly full. Should imagine the 8000 includes us as well.Amongst the saner pundits on their Forum some predict 6500 home support.

I’ve ironed my lucky pants, found a matching pair of socks, berocca, breakfast. Good to go.
Just the small matter of a train, beer and football now.

Everyone have a great day and here’s hoping for a positive result.

Teyn.
