The Trust are inviting Cobblers fans to have a little fun during the forthcoming season - by entering a Football prediction quiz. Entry forms can be purchased at just £2 - the winner will scoop half of the total pot, the other half will go to Trust funds. Trust vice chairman Roger Averill will have entry forms with him at the Sileby game, the NTFC Open Day (20th July) and in Carr's Bar before the games with Walsall, Macclesfield & Plymouth . Alternatively, you can email Roger at rogeraverill1952@gmail.com for further information on how to enter. The closing date for entries is 31st August. So come in and join in a little gentle competition during the season. And good luck!

Javi Garcia and Watford becomes the first Premier manager to part company, which was predicted by 36 people. England's 4-0 win was correctly predicted by 11 people, 2 people, Matt Bloomfield and Graham Raspin got both predictions correct.

With over 150 entries, the first prize is £100, second prize £35 and a third prize of £20. In the event of a tie the prize money will be added together and divided by the number of people, ie 2 people tie for 1st place, £100 + £35 = £135 which is divided by 2, meaning each person gets £67.50p I'll do an update in a few weeks.

The first leader is Graham Raspin with 77 points followed by Fred Blenco with 75, James Loe with 74, Daniel Ellis 72 and Tom Moran & Chris Dews on 71 points. It's a marathon not a sprint though.

I have no issue at all with Salford’s rise . They have done it in the right manner for the right reasons . What’s the problem - they are not MK Dons ? We all have backers that keep the club afloat - where exactly do you think we would be without that ? As for the Nevilles not backing Bury - neither would I with that amount of debt . It’s better to start afresh .

I've been holding fire on this until we get answers on how the season will end and whatever is decided, that is what will give us the final table, no time limits !

Although we have to wait until next weekend to see who wins the Champions League, Graham Raspin has an unassailable lead and will win the first prize of £100. Jim Caddick will pick up the second prize of £35 if Bayern win the CL, if the don't Sean Maher will move up from 3rd (£20) into second. I'll post a complete list of everyone's scores after the Champions League Final.
