Lincoln used to have quite a few d*ckhead fans, stoning coaches and just being pretty obnoxious, hopefully they might have grown up.

Why is there an opinion that mid table is the best we can manage? If we're not up there challenging I'll be pretty disappointed.

Some easy train trips in there, particularly Crewe, Macc and Carlisle.

Not forgetting the great beer trail through Macc

I'm praying Macc isn't on a Tuesday night. My best friend lives in Congleton so I'm already looking forward to turning it into a full weekender.

Quite happy with a lot of these in terms of away fixtures. Still not got round to going to Cambridge or Swindon which are both new grounds for me and relatively local.

Probably make a weekend of it for Forest Green and Tranmere fixtures happily enough (again, both grounds I haven't ticked off yet).

Hoping Lincoln and Notts County both stay down.
Love going to Forest Green...but making a weekend of it in Nailsworth or Stroud!  Grin

Tranmere (obviously staying over in Liverpool) is a cracker!

Don't wish to be confrontational but, I find it a tad ridiculous that so many of you base a whole criteria of an away day simply on the distance from your house!!!

For the record;
Exeter and Carlisle are both great days/weekends. In contrast, Lincoln and Coventry could quite easily prove to be dodgy!
Agree, Carlisle during the promotion season was a great day out (the football and singing helped) but I wont go to Cambridge again, always play cr@p there and too far from the pitch.

Will hopefully get a sunny weekend down in Exeter

Looking at the teams involved and their respective squads the league looks weaker than last time we were here IMO. We should be pushing for top 3 for sure!

...and the pepper spraying and attacking fans getting onto coaches after the game around 96 time!

They never quite got away from being well turned over in Lincoln back in 87!  Wink

Was assuming it was within easy-reaching distance of Cheltenham so could stay there... but I haven't really done my research so will happily accept if I'm totally wrong about that

I fancy it as an away trip in any case Grin

Tbf, if driving and staying over, Stroud has some great pubs and sorted for the Cotswolds in a leisurely drive back on the Sunday!

I thought that. I assume they said they exact same thing about League One a few years back.

For a team that finished 4th I thought they were dreadful. If that's the level to get in the playoffs I would like to think we could do far better.
