Always have to get one lefty still whinging about the fact 17.5 million people voted to leave the eu, get over it you big baby and stops throwing you're toys out the pram. This is a football forum.

You really are not very bright are you - my comment was nothing to do with pro or anti Brexit it was  supporting  Manwork04 comments on the positive contribution of an apprentice scheme. Unless you are completely stupid you will understand controls on freedom of movement post brexit (good or bad) will mean there will be shortage of certain skills in the UK - for us as a country to thrive we need to fill that gap and PTS the sponsers of our stadium are doing that.

So it’s you have bought irrelevant politics into the discussion with both your sign in name and your silly comments.

Last time I was back in Blighty there seemed to be a chronic lack of hand car washes. I drove for at least ten minutes yet could only find a dozen or so, yet a close friend of mine here in Asia who is now a fully qualified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine was refused a visa to enter the UK.

Seems perfectly reasonable to me to allow half a million street urchins from Lithuania or wherever unfettered access to the UK while keeping out the doctors. It's the economy stupid.

Fair point & a skills merit system seems the sensible way to go - however the whole thread seems to have gone off track - my original point was praising the work that PTS do and suggesting when rules on freedom of movement change there will be a need to train more home grown talent (& I’m obviously not talking about fruit picker or car washers) PTS are well placed to do that and by association with the football club it looks positive in a community rather than just commercial relationship - Brexit Knight for reasons known only to himself seemed to have turned it into a somewhat offensive argument  about immigration and Brexit - it never was but whatever your stance on that there are implications and to reference them is not in my opinion taking sides or unreasonable when it is related to the work PTS do.

Absolutely Mr Watch!

Ahem, a swift turnaround and back on topic...

It should be The Carlsberg or Barclaycard Stadium of Northampton, proudly visible from the M1. Holding 25,000 spectators with exceptional hospitality, corporate and entertainment facilities. Hosting a range of sports and events including first class Rugby Union, second class football, community projects, concerts and possibly an annual re-run of "It's a knockout" (The original hosts may have to be replaced) between Althorp House and any other royally connected household that wants to comically wear huge suits and fall over frequently. A true stadium to all be proud of.

Instead we have a piss poor effort named after womens troubles.

Welcome to Northampton...

Resorting to abuse, racial references and/or name calling, although it may satisfy your needs, always alienates you and diverts attention from the original topic. It very rarely adds value and never wins an argument even if in your own head you believe that it does.

Those young Lithuanian kids could become doctors just aswel as your friend in asia.. surely they have need for his osteopathic excellence themselves?
We have several hospital universities creating 1000s of brilliant doctors every year, its the manufacturer construction  and services industries we needed help for and thankfully those from eastern europe filled the gaps to allow our economy to survive.

And even more amazingly, Tabasco, it is incredible how we managed to survive as an independent sovereign country for 900 years before we innocently joined the Common Market trading block, which morphed into the all encompassing and omnipotent European Union over a mere 40 years, don’t you think!? However meanwhile back at the ranch, and the purpose of this thread, can we get back to the more mundane matters of the stadium and the East stand development possibilities now.

You can pay for their education then just as my friend paid for his. Once they have fully qualified as doctors in Lithuania they're welcome. I've seen lots of your potential "doctors" and somehow I don't think they'll make it. Postcode entry into a country rather than on merit.

On the plus side you can build stadiums from thin air so building a new city every year to cope will be childs play.

I love going to the PYO farms and I'm not foreign (except for the fact we're all brothers and sisters of Africa)
