What's in the water in Northampton?
Relegation for The Cobblers.
Awful season for The Saints, struggling at the wrong end of the table and parting company with Jim Mallinder.
And now The Steelbacks are following suit, out of the one day cup and bottom of the county championship division 2. Today bowled out for 204 against Leicestershire. Another defeat on the cards.
Dear oh dear.
Hopefully, next season will be better for all our clubs.

Maybe I was a bit premature. A fightback is happening. A sign of things to come?

If the T20 campaign is a failure, then Northants will surely be looking at a big turnaround in players & coaching...

Yes, a total washout for all teams representing the town/county. Not so long ago the Cobblers strolled division 2, the Saints won the Premiership and the Steelbacks got and almost repeated promotion and won the 20/20 several times (can't see it happening this year). I think the 'something in the water' must be the Council.
