We'll have to see if they score goals, but defences will certainly not get an easy ride with a partnership of Morias and Williams. Will have to see if KVV is in the mix too.

Welcome Junior.

Know very little about him but the People at Peterborough appear sad to see him go so that can only be a good thing.

Doesn’t seem to be a signing of a club on the bones of its arse as some of the doom merchants would have us believe - a couple more signings and a published plan for the east stand completion - then one wonders what they will have to moan about.

Potentially decent but injury prone perhaps the general gist. Certainly not the worst reviews we've had for a player we've bought.

Crooks is going though he might not be entirely happy with that. Unfortunately, JI didn't make it either. It's sad that you have players left behind that are desperate to go and players going that would rather be left behind.

I couldn’t give a f**k if he likes it or not - he’s under contract with us and was part of the squad who got us in this mess.

Is it necessary to be posting all this? You seem to be connected to the club or have someone feeding you this information.

It’s a tough balance to strike, when someone appears to be itk we often push them on here for more info. On the other hand there has been a lot of hints, maybes and supposition posted about the likes of Facey, Taylor, Turnbull, Crooks and van Veen to name a few.

It might all be true of course but all it really does is create a whisper that becomes fact among the fans. The first time one of the players mentions stumbles slightly at the start of the season the less reasonable among our fans will jump all over them, it won’t help.

Assuming they’re still here of course.

It's also just hearsay. A few things he's posted haven't come to pass. And, if he's really enrolled enough in the club to know who's got the hump about on field matters, and players throwing hissy fits because they want away, he should perhaps act with a bit more decorum and show his employers and workmates some respect. It's easy enough to trace internet activity, and if I was his employer he'd be on his way out.

It did also cross my mind that Mathieus is just making stuff up for his/hers kicks. Either way the only benefit it has is to Mathius's ego.

Good signing on the face of it. Will be interesting to see how we line up this year. Something tells me that Austin will play two strikers, but our current personnel and lack of a left-sided winger doesn't really fit a 4-4-2.
Either he signs a left-winger and goes to 442 (which would mean possibly sacrificing McWilliams from the starting line up) or he goes with a 4-2-3-1:

                        New GK

         Facey  Taylor   Pierre   Buchanan

              McWilliams     Crooks

          Powell    O'Toole        Morais
                        Williams

Obviously all of this is conjecture based on everyone still being here in August. I think whatever happens that we need two more players (or one player who combines both these attributes): a left-sided winger and a creative playmaking midfielder.

Agree with you that I think he wants 2 up front. This is my guess based on who is currently here, obviously we know some will probably go.

new GK

Facey  Taylor  Pierre  Buchs

Crooks  McWilliams  O’Toole  Powell

Williams  Morias

I know we lack wingers but nowadays not many will go with 2 up front and two out and out wingers. Give Crooks license to roam and support the middle pair from one wing and I think he could be very effective.

Of course that’s all bull when half of them leggit!
