It's also just hearsay. A few things he's posted haven't come to pass. And, if he's really enrolled enough in the club to know who's got the hump about on field matters, and players throwing hissy fits because they want away, he should perhaps act with a bit more decorum and show his employers and workmates some respect. It's easy enough to trace internet activity, and if I was his employer he'd be on his way out.
Absolute tripe.
If Mathius or anyone else has accurate information they want to share - carry on doing so .
People get the hump because they don’t know where it comes from or how they couldn’t possibly know themselves .
I also get first hand information , some of which gets shared and most of it doesn’t, depending on if it’s told confidentially or not .
I knew about the management appointment way before it was announced , team selections , injuries and disruptions . Some of these things I shared and others I haven’t

I’m sure we all want people to share the information that they have but I think the point is more around the hints and suppositions that are posted, if you have some itk info and it is safe to post then why not do so in full detail? If it is confidential and can’t be clearly posted why bother hinting at something that leaves everyone taking stabs in the dark?

Someone who claims to be itk saying things like Crooks “might” not be happy about going to Spain is not helpful imo. If you know he isn’t and wants away fine, if you’re guessing based on a vague conversation then all it does is plant a seed in the mind of fans that will mean any action he takes on the pitch going forward that people don’t like will be pre-judged under that cloud.

yeah of course Cobblerwatch, expect you said exactly the same with the January signings, lot of good that did us

Never understand why so called intelligent fans seem so obsessed with signing a player and ignore just about every other aspect of how a club is run.

STILL waiting for you thoughts on the away fans facilities but of course that doesn't suit your support of KT does it. I am not far away you want me to take a photo for you.

I'm minded of the famous quote by George Carlin on arguing - but I can't let this pass without comment

yeah of course Cobblerwatch, expect you said exactly the same with the January signings (No I didn't), lot of good that did us

Never understand why so called intelligent fans seem so obsessed with signing a player  (I'm not obsessed, just a simple positive comment about a specific subject separate from the all consuming one you are totally obsessed with) and ignore just about every other aspect of how a club is run (Not ignoring but it's a different subject but I do understand everything leads to that in respect of your obsession) .

STILL waiting for you thoughts on the away fans facilities but of course that doesn't suit your support of KT does it (I actually don't even know what you are talking about but find it slightly rich you press me to answer a question but you consistently avoid addressing any point which counters some of your more speculative assumptions) . I am not far away you want me to take a photo for you  - (ditto - absolutely no idea what you are talking about).

It's one thing sharing valid and accurate information. However, claiming to be connected to the club as Mathius would have people believe, and then making statements such as 'the youth will get no opportunities with Austin in charge' or, 'there are a few players who won't play in League 2', these two alone hardly prove him a font of knowledge, do they? One is blatantly inaccurate, and the other so sweeping - and with two possible interpretations - as to be disregarded. So, all I'm saying is, when he starts lambasting a certain player's attitude, perhaps a pinch of salt is in order.

Decent signing, first 'exciting, positive' Cobblers related news since errr, January!  Grin

A winger and a keeper and were good to go. If Cornell starts in goal and is still there when the transfer window closes, I think we will struggle. Others may disagree, but I reckon thats the absolute priority position for us to sort out now.

With regards to Crookes and VV, I reckon they will both be gone by the start of the season. Crookes will surely attract a decent offer/s somewhere, we'd be silly not to go with it in my opinion. Id love him to stay, but if he wants out…then its surely a case of just trying to get the best deal for the club that we can.

As for VV, how long did he last at St Albans before he signalled to the bench that he was injured?  Grin

On paper, we have a very solid strike force for this level. It'd be interesting to see if DA uses Morias up front in a classic big man/little man 4-4-2 or if he maybe fancies him playing behind the striker in a more fluid 4-2-3-1 formation? Pleased to see us sign a player with the abilities JM has.

As Drilling says - 1x winger and 1x goalkeeper, and I'd say we're set for the season ahead. I can see both of these players being loan signings now.

I would like to keep hold of crooks and waters and reasses at the next transfer window.
There's a couple of good players in there somewhere.
If they do go, we could be short on quality.

Agree with you on Waters, but if Crooks is intent on leaving then theres little point in forcing him to stay in my opinion. His wages are going to be top end league1; he's also a bit injury prone. Id look to cash in if it was me in charge of the finances. Good player mind, if he wanted to be here (which he *might well do now but I doubt it*) then my opinion would be different!

It was quite obvious Crooks was nowhere near the level he was at when he was he made the PFA League 2 team of the year back in 2016.

I don't know how much of this was down to poor fitness and whether the step up in level was too much for him.

I wouldn't lose any sleep if he did leave but there must be something that is putting off other clubs.

Not a man I would choose to go in the trenches with me .
If he stays I hope he rips it up for us , but he needs to prove he is up for it to the supporters and management
