Interesting - really thought his days were numbered but if he's putting in the effort and attitude there's no reason to not give him another go.

Bowditch does have a reasonable reputation as a lower league player.

He's definitely creative with the ball at his feet. Something we've missed.

It's when the ball is everywhere else he's been shocking so far, which is why I didn't see him as an Austin type of player. Maybe Deano can get the best out of him. Or maybe not. His set pieces are probably better than Grimes anyway. Something else we must improve on this season, and I suspect we will.

maybe, like a lot of them, they didnt want to play under the regime of JFH

DA said Dean Bowditch is his kind of footballer and is pleased to have him fit again. Looks like Bowditch has a future here after all.
Can he play in goal ?

Shame it cuts out for Shaun Mcwilliams finish but we look half decent even it it was against a youth team.

McWilliams looked excellent there - nice bit of desire to score his goal despite time being almost up.
