Things are at a really low ebb on and off the pitch at the moment and although I’m not making games at the moment I’m still feeling a bit down on Saturday evenings. I’ve found a way to combat the never ending Saturday evening blues by preparing meals that I really enjoy in the knowledge that I will need cheering up on a Saturday evening Tonight it’s cauliflower cheese Given that there seems to be no end to this sorry saga and we seem left with a chairman whose given up and a manager who can’t manage may I suggest making contingency plans food wise for the next few weeks At least when you return from football you have something to look forward to. With autumn now upon us a slow cooked casserole can be prepared before the match and can be waiting ready to serve the minute you return from further afternoons of depression. Every cloud has a silver lining.....

Considering he only made music from 1956 - early 1959 he has left behind an amazing musical legacy. Even The Rolling Stones did a cover version of Not Fade Away.

I have just spent all day emptying out whats left in my mums bungalow, before she goes into a (very expensive) carehome. What does a single old lady, want with seven suitcases? Trying to keep up with the score on Radio Numpty, and a stressful day on both counts. The solution is three pints of Abbot in the Cordwainer, and back home with a Welly Road Super Kebab, medium lamb doner, chilli sauce, no salad, just onions. And chips of course. Stress free for an hour or two. No offence Shoey, but I cannot stand Cauliflower. Be it cheesed or not.

Stir-fried chicken satay for me and the Ryder Cup highlights Was toying with the idea of going today but with a return on the train from West Sussex at £92.00 I decided to give it a miss. Looks like it was a good call. I followed the game on Sporting Life for the 90+ minutes however. Depressing and concerning times on the pitch, accentuated by the fact KT wants to offload. Probably the most depressing 12 months in the 35-odd years I've followed the Cobbs. Keep the Faith, I guess. Respect to all those who made the trip today.

I'd prefer three pints of Cauliflower Cheese shake than Abbot I think!

Sounds like you're describing a poodle, of which I have nearly as much time for as Greene King!
