People now questioning tone of DA interview ffs!  He sounded just like us fans would have, had we been interviewed...absolutely gutted! Nowt wrong with that & shows he cares... Rather have honesty than cliché "we go again" soundbites... Seems some so called fans are actively wanting DA to fail...fvcking ridiculous! I'm personally enjoying watching the team play each game for the first time since under Wilder. Yes, the defensive issues need rectifying, but isn't it nice going to games knowing your gonna see your team create chances & actually attempt to score? Been a few years since we could honestly say that. Couldn't agree more |

For the first time sionce Wilder, we are actually being ENTERTAINED by playing attacing football (exactly what we wanted & what DA promised)
Have we been battered in any game? No
Could we have won every game played so far? Yes
IT WILL TAKE TIME FFS, but the fayre on show is night and day compared to RP, JED & JFH
Sammo said back end of last season that the club needed an identity...
DA is trying to give us that so look at the bigger picture you negative fvckers!

memyhead, thats the best thing that has been sais on here in a while, I am actually quite excited by how we are performing under Austin, okay it has been a bit frustrating that we havent won yet, but everyone seems to be playing for their place and look like they want to win. Which hasn't been the case for the last couple of seasons. Sammo was right when he said we need an identity and I think Dean is the man to create that if we give him the time to do it.

DA's interviews are not typical for a manager in terms of style
I think that is why some people are saying he's uninspiring.
Personally, although I don't disagree with what he's saying, I can see how some might find his tone and demeanour a little "downbeat" and construe it as uninspiring.

He isn't, he is scratching his nose, looking at the floor and saying you know a lot. I gave up listening about 2 minutes in to his last effort. Austin was a player known for his passion and rousing ability across to his team mates and fans. We had this to a degree in a couple of his early management interviews but it has shrunk to a mumble of late. Still his team selection has improved slightly and if we win tonight he can scratch his nose till it bleeds. Come on Dean, let rip tonight. |

The team on paper is good enough to compete in this league. It comes down to the managers inability to get the best out of them.
Now on borrowed time I feel. It’s going to really knock confidence this. Not sure if the players will be fully behind him after this fxxxing horror show.

Dean will turn it around as KT will allow him to bring in a couple of youth loans who have never made a league appearance.
We must remember that this is basically the same team that was hopeless last season and basically lacks decent football players.
We need decent players,the chairman’s gone quiet and things are falling apart at every level.
The one saving grace is that I will only be taking in a couple of away games after deciding not to renew my season ticket as it’s obvious the club is going nowhere.
When there is a semblance of things moving forward on and off the pitch I will renew but my money has been spent elsewhere and to my surprise I’m not missing football at all(a supporter for thirty years)
At the end of the day you can’t polish a turd 💩
