Changing the manager won't make any difference, except to waste money that could be spent on players in January.

The make up of the current squad, the attitude that they display, the effort they put in, and the passion of the current management team is not a patch on the ‘Wilder speech’ times.

We are sliding out of the Football League unless something happens soon to stop the downwards spiral. The players seem to be gutless and the management clueless to know how to arrest the failings seen every week on the pitch.  I hope a sale of the club happens in the next few weeks so that the new owners can make the decisions needed.  I am sorry for DA but our survival is more important than sentiment.

I would sack dean so long as we get all the job applicants names in,go to the field down the road that’s used for carparking, mark out a grid of say 64 squares each one containing a sealed envolope with a candidates name in.
We could then let a single cow into the field and whichever square it craps in first will lead to the corresponding envolope being opened and the manager being appointed.
We could charge a tenner a head to attend and the sky cameras would definitely cover it live.

I think this would prove to be a far better recruitment process than the last few attempts and would not drag on as it could be finalised in a weeks time.

Dean Austin won't be sacked. We've got a chairman who doesn't appear to care and I can't see him wasting yet more money on paying another manager off.

What manager would actually want the job? We are fast becoming a poison chalice.

Didn't want to blame the ref but then did.

Said we need more "devilment".

Winning is a habit and losing is a habit. Our squad have got used to losing. I don't think changing the manager will do a lot to change that.

Right.
If he means more goals scored and fewer conceded, then I agree with him.

He meant we are too nice as was asked directly about that and he said we are silly to think we can get outbid this league with just nice football. Something like that.

With the players that came in this summer I’d rather spend the money on a new manager

It pains me to say because our rapid change of managers is embarrassing and to date has got us nowhere - but Dean Austin will get us relegated. We actually play better against better sides (but still get very little) but the games against Morecambe, Cheltenham and now Port Vale show he simply does not have the necessary L2 guile or game plan to grind out a result against poorer footballing sides than us - plus, and an important plus there are still too many players that simply don’t care. KT needs to act well this side of Christmas or we are doomed.

He will care if we're in the confrence as the value of his asset will halve.

The rapid change of managers is cause of our predicament and you want to change the manager?

Don't be so stupid! Not sacking jimmy soon enough is the main reason we are where we are today

I believe that DA’s record this season is beyond redemption; since appointed Manager he appears to have lost his zip!
