Don't be so bloody stupid! Not sacking jimmy soon enough is the main reason we are where we are today

If we had kept Jimmy we would not now be 20th in L2. ..and we as a club would be richer.

The rapid change of managers is cause of our predicament and you want to change the manager?
No I didn’t say that, I said it was embarrassing and had not to date achieved anything - and yes I do want a change as quite clearly to anyone who has watched our total lack of a game plan and inability to motivate players knows if we delay a decision (like we did last year) the likely outcome is the same again - we need to change our manager because this one is simply not good enough. It’s fine having the “wise holier than thou” attitude but everything I have seen against frankly rubbish sides suggests I’m right and you are wrong

There is an element of truth in both sides of the argument - but at the end of the day a succession of poor managers have bought some poor players and have for whatever reason been unable to get a tune out of what they have had at their disposal (my measurement of a good coach/manager is someone who is able to make what he has available to him greater than the sum of its parts).

I am u certain that changing the manager is a good idea, simply because we are desparate need for stability. That said could another manager do any better with this sqaud, a sqaudnI may add that contains mostly JEDs signings (this say alot). Were not going for promotion this year and relegation is a big concern, its just a shame that in football we can't sack people for being incompetent at there job without paying them off. Personally I'd be sacking players first.

Another spineless performance beaten two weeks on the bounce by a poor side, odds look strong now on Harry Kewell breaking his duck when Notts Co come to town. Where do we go from here, no new players to bring in, only option appears to be ditching Austin and keep the managerial merry go round going until Thomas recruits his fifth crap manager in two years. This club is a shambles underachieving big time

I believe that DA’s record this season is beyond redemption; since appointed Manager he appears to have lost his zip! AGREED!

Thanks Clarity for that info - looks a bit desperate for DA!

It doesn’t and you are quite right in suggesting that. Equally we cannot go on like this for much longer. Something has to give and it’s odds on against DA.

If KT comes out of hiding & does pull the trigger on Austin then whoever comes in will still have to work with the spineless tossers they will inherit!
It's the fvcking players who need to stop saying how great they are & prove it...
If we do get a new manager in I just hope he's a horrible fvcker that can see through the bulls*** & instills fight & pride in the shirt.
We are sleepwalking into non league

Sorry if this doesn't go down well but DA is less experienced than JED, Page and even JFH so IMHO has less chance of turning this around.
He was the cheapo appointment and time has already shown, the wrong one.
I appreciate that many will say we cant keep changing managers but you can't leave someone in charge who isn't capable of getting the best out of the players. That's the managers job.
Regardless of how theyre currently playing, this lot should be more than capable of making a fist of this division. If they look unmotivated, thats the managers job to sort. If they arent pulling their weight, thats the managers job too.
The issue isnt sacking crap managers. Its about finding a competent one.

But in many ways totally irrelevant.
DA is being let down by his players, who cannot convert chances or concede sloppy goals.
It is time for the players to step up .... However I have my doubts if they can or will.

That's pretty debatable to be honest. DA has worked with Brendan Rodgers, Slavisa Jokanovic and Quique Sanchez Flores. Justin Edinburgh hasn't achieved anything at Football league level. JFH inherited Gary Rowett's Burton side and kept it going but then struggled at QPR and then with us. Rob Page had a couple of seasons of finishing mid table with Port Vale. If we're being honest none of those managers stand out.

He picks the team! What’s the point of picking players not up for it; then people blame the players!

"we're not making teams work hard enough to score against us at the moment, some of the goals we're conceding are too easy..."
This isn't just "at the moment" this has been happening since the start of last season and not one football professional at the club are capable of rectifying this.
