Repeatedly going with Cornell as his number one will cost him his job.

He clearly has a huge problem in defence, in Barnet, Taylor, Buchanan and Pierre you have a lot of experience but some of the ease and regularity in which goals are conceded is shocking. The added pressure knowing we have to score 3 to avoid defeat could be why we can't hit a barn door with a cows arse. Nothing less than 3 points V Notts County or DA for his and our sakes, needs to go, and even then his team needs to show a massive turn around over the next 10 games. I still hope he can pull a rabbit out and kick on, but it needs to start happening next week.

Agreed and particularly the point both for his sake and the club’s next Saturday has to be decision day from KT - sadly I’m not over optimist in either scenario and as you say it needs a significant turn around

In my opinion Austin is struggling because he hasn’t got the experience to turn the negativity in the team and the club around. The blame for where we are lies with the board and the sooner they sell up the better. We none of us know what funds or what input into the recruitment Austin had during the summer. I don’t think Thomas wants to spend any more on the club so I think we are stuck with what we have, maybe getting an experienced assistant in to help Austin would be the answer, someone who can shout and get nasty with this lightweight bunch of players we have, Austin seems too pally with them and not being the forceful manager we need right now. I want him to succeed but unless he develops a nasty streak with this squad we have no chance.

The board are to blame for giving Austin the job in the first place. Terrible decision really. But same old same old us poor fans keep on suffering while this car crash of a club sinks even further down the league.

Or it could be the players we’ve got in the attacking positions, the likes of Hoskins, Williams, Bowditch, Bridge, Powell.

Interesting and much as I dislike characters like Steve Evans as a person you could be fairly certain we would not be in this position if he was in charge.

You can also look at Milton Keynes they were very similar to us but made a proper managerial appointment in the summer

From what I've seen from the dugout I have my doubts that Andy Todd was the right choice as assistant manager. Seems to have little passion to me, In fact Chris Day (goalkeeper coach) seems to have more.

"we're not making teams work hard enough to score against us at the moment, some of the goals we're conceding are too easy..."
This isn't just "at the moment" this has been happening since the start of last season and not one football professional at the club are capable of rectifying this.
In a nutshell... Absolutely

One good thing.....if he was the ‘cheap option’ at least the severance figure will be lower than for the last three managers!!
I don’t know what’s happened to him, all that passion when he took on the job in a caretaker role, it’s all evaporated now, and he seems clueless as to how to change things.

That’s what I suggested last week but someone supposedly itk reckoned he wasn’t the cheap option - if that’s true then KT is worse at negotiating and appointing football managers than I thought.

He was already employed by us, so we saved money by not sacking him with JFH. He'll hang around whilst the club is up for sale in my opinion. Will never understand why our bipolar fans were so happy with the appointment in the first place. He was the overwhelming fans favourite amongst the idiots.

He was indeed and I shared your thoughts. Certainly wasn't my choice and was also shocked that he was so popular. It's the same clowns who keep saying let's give Sammo the job.
The comment about paying for compensation is totally irrelevant in my opinion as the cost of dropping out of the football league will be far more.

Bit harsh on the idiots - after all it was a popular choice. FYI I had my doubts after the Blackpool and Walsall games and endorsed by the Morecambe game.

I'd be amazed if DA wasn't a far cheaper option than say Tisdale or Robinson. Plus if either of those had come in DA may well have been out of a coaching job and would have needed paying off as it seems the trend that most new managers bring their own backroom staff

Let's be realistic. It's highly likely DA was told that relegation to League Two wasn't in the business plan so there's no money for new players. I reckon he was told to "Try to hold on to what we've got and if any jump ship we'll look to see if we can find money to replace them." Hardly grounds to sack him after 10 games.

KT will not sack DA.The club will be under new ownership in the not to distant future and i would then assume the new owners will want to put there own Manager in place.
