Also if he was an excellent coach you would expect to see improvements in players. Don't mistake being well liked, friendly and caring for being a good coach.

Made the right call today with the personnel changes and the different shape.
Baffling lack of subs though.

How the **** is the bloke still in a job?!?!?
Because he is not the one blazing over from 6 yards in injury time, Van Veen is nowhere near as good as his own publicity. You can’t blame the manager if we are consistently creating more chances than the opposition, that suggests he is doing his job well, it’s up to the forwards to then do theirs.

1 win in 12 says otherwise.

Imagine if he kept us up left season. We'd be getting pumped 5 or 6 each game. So I guess that's a positive.
Also, he made a sub and we didn't lose the game immediately afterwards. That's a first.

When you're the manager and you see that there are no goals in the squad and you have a 3 month gap before your next match, shouldn't you change that situation by signing a few players that can score?

I don’t think it was quite from 6 yards, if you watch the highlights he was at more of an angle and farther out than it seemed at the time - it would have had to have been something special to have beaten the keeper. Having said that I agree that Van Veen clearly rates himself very highly and he needs to start walking the walk.

How about a player that might manage more than 8 games a season?

He also said van Veen would score 25+. Either he didn't think league 2 was up to much or he genuinely rates both players. I think van Veen can score 10 to 15 and Williams 7 to 10 (his record suggests that). Morias (if fit) could be the best of the three, not just scoring himself but creating for others - he's a big miss.

With the current set up we will be religated, we have had a lot of easier games against teams in and around us. DAs record as manager is the worst I can remember, boring side wards passing no penetration conceding just about every game. IMHO he will be gone in the next few weeks hopefully with the uselessThomas with him.

Did you enjoy Cornells clean sheet and world class save yesterday?
