Left shortly after half time. Lincoln scored. A Lincoln supporter jumped up in West Stand - not ideal. BUT well done Cobbs fans (debatable) then attacked him!! Well done mindless morons!! If this is football then .......!!! Well done to the lad in the flowery shirt - had a real go - well brave . Hope your little lad was impressed with Dad's behaviour!!

Yeah sorry. If you're stupid enough to celebrate a goal in the home end then you've taken the risk. Plenty of Cobblers fans have sat on their hands in the past at away games.

Dont think physical attacks can be justified. The Lincoln fan should however have a night in the cells and then be banned from all football grounds for 2 years.

You know what to expect if you sit in the home end, and dont keep your mouth shut. And why did you leave early in the second half?

I understand the mentality of wanting to go to a big away game, not being able to get a ticket in the away end and buying one in the home end instead. I'e never needed to do it before but might consider it if push came to shove.
What I don't get is jumping out of your seat to goad the home fans around you, throwing a couple of punches when they square up to you, and refusing to move when security appear - thereby deliberately getting yourself arrested, missing half of a game you spent £22 to see, potentially spending a night in a cell and probably ending up in court (he threw the first punches and the cops have it on camera).
And for what? What did he gain from purposefully ruining his own afternoon? You can only imagine all this guy really went for was a bit of a fight, and he got what he wanted, just annoying some of our fans took the bait. Fair play to the Cobblers fans trying to protect this numpty, he didn't deserve them putting themselves in harm's way for him.
A few years back (during Wilder's first full season) we played Oxford at home and I worked out fairly early on that the dad next to me with his two kids, probably about 6 and 4 I'd say, was an Oxford fan. His kids knew all the Oxford players' names but none of the Cobblers players which was a bit of a giveaway! They beat us 3-1 but after each of their goals they sat quietly - the young lad quietly fistpumped once before his dad stopped him - and during our goal they just stood up and clapped. THAT'S how you conduct if you're in the opposing end and if you behave like that, funnily enough, no-one around you actually gives a ****. I can't have been the only one who worked out they were Oxford fans but no-one said a peep to the stewards. The were a credit to their club and the Lincoln twat today was an embarrassment to his.

Lincoln have , for years, had more than their fair share of d*ckhead fans and nothings changed. Prepare for the coaches to be ambushed and supporters, and ones with families, to be abused when we visit Sincil Bank, its what they do

Some of this does not make sense: a) Left shortly after half time - why was it you? b) Who are the mindless morons? c) Who was the lad in the flowery shirt d) Why did he have a real go e) Why was he brave? f) Who is this little lad to be impressed by his Dads behaviour and why? Basically your comments are a load of nonsence.

Maybe he was the cobblers fan led away to the delight of the Lincoln fans after the Lincoln Muppet was arrested ?

The aforementioned Muppet came for a fight and looked drunk. Every club has them, us included.

Wonder if the day will come when supporters will be able to mix together with no more than banter? Or will the game always be plagued by w@nkers and cowards with too much to prove?

Couldn't have put it better. They also picked the worst part of the West to be in, opposite end (or somewhere in the East) and they'd have been fine.

Not only the home section, but right in the middle of where he knew a majority of lads all sit (stand). Behavior typical of a Lincoln fan. They've always had an excess of moronic followers.
