Yeah , he was sent out on loan before we did that.

JJ was not as good last year as he was in the championship winning side where he ran the midfield.

Because JFH played him and Grimes the wrong way round...

Apparently he's doing ok and isn't ruled out of Saturdays game! Sounds like he might miss this week though but be available the following week. Good news

Great news indeed. From a layman's perspective though, I wouldn't risk playing him on Saturday. If nothing else, imagine the egg on face if he pulls up again and is then out for weeks!

I'd give him a couple of weeks off, to make sure it is fully healed.

Nothing worse than rushing people back.

Northampton Town have received good news on the fitness of midfielder Shaun McWilliams.

McWilliams picked up a hamstring injury during the game against Lincoln City last week leading to fears of a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but manager Dean Austin says that is not likely to be the case.

"The scan results were very encouraging," he said.

"The injury isn't as bad as we first feared and in addition to that, he has made terrific progress this week and is improving daily.

"We won't take any risks with him of course, but such has been his progress we are keeping all of our options open in terms of a return and we haven't totally ruled him out of anything at this stage.

"He will keep working with the medical staff and we will see how he goes from now until Saturday before making any decisions.

"Junior Morias came through the midweek reserve game well, so we will head north with a number of strong selection decisions to make and as a manager, that is a good position to be in."

Austin has a full squad to choose from but will make a late decision on McWilliams.

Sounds like he’s fit but possibly not 100% fit!
