Glad to see him given a chance - was a class above anything else we had last season in both quality and attitude.

I got slated when I called him our player of the season. One of the best players I've seen in a Cobblers shirt.

He came across sometimes as lazy and it seemed like he was playing within himself. His set piece delivery left something to be desired!!

Perhaps with some decent coaching he's gained a new lease of life and is now performing well.

Fair play to him for that.

If you're good you don't suddenly become crap overnight......unless you join the Cobblers!

I think it's a different Rose at Mansfield and did Clarke sign for us? I seem to remember we were interested but I didn't think we signed him.

Too many Danny Rose's....a whole bunch of them in fact! You are indeed correct.....Danny Rose at Mansfield is not the one we had who is now at Portsmouth, and is not the one we didn't have who currently plays for Tottenham!

Peter Clarke....is a different person to Peter Clark...who did play for us in 2004......!! What happened to him?? Did he get injured? He retired from football at the end of that season, aged just 25
