Same score, but goals from Lamb Foley and Lammy Hoskins.

I think that’s probably the best balanced side .....
But it’s not good enough. We badly need decent wide players .
I agree JJOT and crooks don’t work in the middle .
The only other option is to play jjot with Foley and push crooks wide .

Hopefully we have Mcwilliams back for this game. Him and Crooks in the middle will do nicely.

Agree with Boot and Shoe about our wingers. We're really going to struggle this season with what we have.

This is what I’d do, obviously McWilliams back in for Foley when fit. Very rare that a team plays 442 these days with out and out wingers, if they do they usually have 2 defensive minded central midfielders sitting, which we don’t have. I know playing Crooks wide “looks” odd given his size but I think it free’s him up a bit, he could be the creative spark we’ve missed for 2 years .......

if foley starts after last night then we have issues

would hope JJOT and mcwilliams are fit

this line up and last night just shows how much we needed wide players....................thankfully the window is still open to rectify this.

We've not beaten them at home in 10 attempts. Time to change that surely. I mean they lost 1-4 at home to Newport last night  Undecided

I would go with
                     Ward
Facey.  Pierre Taylor.  Buchanan

 Crooks.  McWilliams JJOT.  Bowditch

             Williams.  Morais

I really thought that Bowditch and Morais linked well last night v Wycombe

If we lose Saturday our points per game ratio will be worse under DA than even JFH.

Let's get those first three points then!

Nine goals conceded by Cambridge so far but an excellent 3-2 win over Notts County last weekend.

Now that we have most of the squad fit, I'll go with:

Ward

Buchs
Pierre
Taylor
Facey

Powell
JJOT
Crooks
Hoskins

KvV
Morias

Williams would feel unfortunate I think but just feel that we need to try the Kev and Junior partnership.

I am afraid Foley had a disappointing  game last night and looks miles off what is required in L2; for us that is!
