I was told before a ball was kicked by someone directly involved that we would do well to finish mid table and it’s going to take a while to sort the squad out .
I dismissed this with the players we have but I now see what they mean .

The tea lady will have to stop giving you information.

I thought he did ; certain I saw one or two pat him on the back at some point in 1st half. Possibly another second half. In any case Dolphin made the error and the second was a wonder goal?

Like i said 3 games and yet to make a save u can remember.

The pat on the back was  probably DB3 for heading one off the line after DC1 flapped

Good ... but not good enough

On the highlights it's hard to tell if Buchanan touched it or not, it was from behind the goal too. Maybe Cornell got his fingertips on it.

While I still feel he does not command his area well enough he did get the ball out of the danger area for their second, and couldn't do a thing about the shot.

I was right behind that and even now I'm not sure how it wasn't a goal.
Me and the guy next to me came to the conclusion that Cornell must have put it past the post because it didn't seem like Buchanan got his head to it.
Happy to be corrected.

How long before they start closing the East Stand on some matchdays? Doesn't seem worthwhile opening it for the 100 or so who are in there!

It would be better to give it to the away support and give us the south. I suppose it will be a little more full when the schools are back in and a proper away support turns up unlike Cambridge (very poor).

I was staring at the East Stand Saturday wondering why the hell anyone would want to sit in that dump, especially on sunny days.

I seriously wonder if it will ever be developed, it's all gone deathly quiet again.

On another note has anyone noticed how our chairman never writes any notes in the programme? even DC used to do that.

I sat in the East Stand on Saturday with my kids. Actually enjoyed it. Lots of space, no idiots etc

Those that understand the game will understand the point

Those that dont will dig as deep as they can to find one that is 50 / 50 at best

Cornell isn't a very good goalkeeper FACT, Lincoln game they had ONE shot on target and.........one conceded.
As I said Cornell concedes two goals per game........he will get DA the sack.

I said it last season ....I said it close season and I say it again ....lovely bloke but CORNELL is a number 2.
Dai Cornell:
We will never get anywhere with him as our N0.1 in goal.....above all he does not command his box and is an unsettling influence on the rest of the defence.
This was painfully obvious ...the very first game he played.

We needed a top class replacement keeper for this level and all we got was an inexperienced back up in Ward......although the jury could be out on him....at Wycombe he was edgy and bloody hopeless at the Pens ( in fairness: Cornell would have got us over the line probably in that match).

We need a win to boost confidence at Morecambe and to replace both the full backs too !  Then get a defence Coach in !!!
These are the players  who took us down ......there are signs of  improvement and the entertainment is good ....but losing and inability to defend a lead is habit forming.
It's as Obvious (as Ron.?).          COYC.
