Wave the white flag and give them the three points.

Going to this one, not been since Layer rd.
It's a closer to home for the Prinz and he's homesick, so I'm predicting a comfortable 0-3, inspite of tonight's results.
Football's a funny old game.

Don't think we've got a snowball's chance in hell of winning this one.

I'd rather this ...than be playing a team that hasn't scored or won yet!

Wycombe, Morecambe et al.

It will be just typical "Cobblers" to go and win this, well I hope so 'Cos I'll be travelling all the way up on Friday and then back to Essex twice and have already bought a 'Ferkin' Ticket.

                    Cornell

      Facey  Pierre  Barnett  Turnball

                      Foley

Crooks(just) McWilliams(if fit) Jon Joe(if fit)

               van Veen  Morias

Bench: Williams, Ward, Bowditch, Walters, Odoffin, Hoskins, Taylor. Maybe drop one of the outfield players from that lot and take Cameron McWilliams instead(if fit).

No width but it appears to be like playing with 10 when Powell is on the pitch anyway. Extra cover for the back four instead as we appear to need it.

I think most of us would take a point.

We have no quality wingers so why play that system! It is like playing with 9 effective players. Facey put in more crosses than our wingers!

                Cornell

Facey Taylor Pierre Buchanan

        McWilliams Foley

O'Toole                        Crooks

         van Veen           Williams

Two protecting the back four and the other 4 given the licence to attack.

Why does everyone want to play 2 up front away from home when we are so suspect in midfield and defence. We need to pack the midfield so that we stand some chance of getting and using the ball. My team selection would be:

                  Cornell

Facey      Taylor     Pierre     Turnbull

           McWilliams      O'Toole

Waters           Crooks             Foley

                  Van Veen

Subs:  Ward, Buchanan, Barnett, Hoskins, Bowditch, Williams

At the moment it is more important to grind out a few results and get some confidence back than to go gung-ho in search of goals because we will inevitably concede far more than we score. If we can prevent the opposition from having space and from having shots in the area that is the most important thing for the next ten games. I am sure the vast majority of fans would accept a bit of negativity in exchange for results. Far better that than playing open attacking football and losing all the time.

        Crooks    JJOT    Foley

             van Veen  Morias

Would add that JJOT should in a withdrawn role - cover for defence

I tend to agree with you but, We can score but we can't defend very well. Sort the defending out and we might  do a lot better, you won't win anything without a good defence.
