You must be kidding, great to read some positivity in the squad. Good for him.
Not kidding at all. They regularly hyped themselves up last year too and that worked wonders. I'd have thought they'd have learnt their lesson. Seems not.

Cornell is s***. The fact people accept him as our No 1 is part of the reason we are mediocre. He isn't good enough. Many of them ain't.

As if anything they say to the media makes any difference to a game. At least he's showing some spirit.

This folks is the complete antithesis to the Barnett Chron interview. I know which I prefer.

He isn't though is he? Spirit is shown on the pitch. What he said was a load of fantastical, trumpet blowing, delusional nonsense that has absolutely no grounding in reality and is backed up by no evidence whatsoever. I've never seen the attitude of a professional player be so far wide of the mark. I find it deeply concerning if this is the way our players actually think.

It’s a puff to the Chron, not the Gettysburg Address.

When Wilder signed Cornell, (we already had Smith) he said I now have the two best 'keepers in the division'But of course that was then and this is now.

Ward Facey Taylor Pierre Turnbull Foley Mcwilliams Morias O'Toole Crooks KvV I know we won't, but I'd play this formation/team currently. Would offer us much more defensively and keeps all the current underperformers out (besides Taylor... But he's still better than an in-form Barnett). I take it Powell comes off the bench and scores twice with bullet headers

It doesn't matter who he's speaking to the prevailing attitude remains the same and it's a huge worry. The arrogance is unbelievable.
You have to earn the right to say stupid things like that and they've done the exact opposite so far.

Dan used to be so positive but has gone very 'morose' over the last few months. Was an excellent co ordinator of the singing and got most of us joining in.
That's quite simple...whiskies help with 'co-ordination'!

Not sure the point is whether or not it's to the media, more the point of reflection of attitude in saying (whatever - I personally haven't seen) it in the first place!

If Oxford City can win 1-0 at Colchester, I see no reason whatsoever why the Cobblers can't go there...and lose 3-0!

Interesting, in the prediction league out of the 15 predictions on the Colchester V Cobblers game 9 think we will get some kind of result.

What a footballer, or manager, says to the local media is bound to be very different to the conversations they have amongst themselves.
