Loyalty right there
What the hell has loyalty got to do with it? Numpty. Drawing at home to them not really good enough. Sounded like we were all over them but still can't finish to save our lives.

Dangerous without killing the game off, the best team on the pitch but not making the most of it. Played well though.

Played well again but still not sticking the ball away and the final ball is often very poor. Both those situations need improving. I doubt there's any other team in the division that passes the ball around as well as we do but we must be more clinical and better with the final ball. In the end we've only scored 7 goals in 6 league games when we literally should have scored twice as many and we'd probably still be complaining about poor finishing.

We did play well which is why its disappointing. Morias looked like he pulled his hammy. Agree if we put the chances away we would have won 4 or 5-1. Cornell had a good game as well. We go again. Whacking the Wycombe

Thought we played quite well and deserved to win.
Needed a winger and a CB in the loan window though.

Tranmere fans thought it was Christmas and their birthday at the same time today. Another game we should have won.
Music and scoreboard back up to speed.
Abundance of gnomes in the crowd today.

How many chances and good attacking positions can one man destroy in one game? Hoskins may as well have played for Tranmere today. He was there best defender at times.

Austin's decision to not make any changes to our defence in the transfer window is going to cost us so many points.

After listening to the legend that is Sammo on the radio I’ve got nothing to add - decent enough until we get to the edge of the area and then the decision making goes to pot. This whole total number of shots thing is a complete red herring though - as Sammo said we didn’t work their keeper at all. The amount of room Hoskins had with no end product was ridiculous and how Van Veen stayed on when we’ve got Williams on the bench is beyond me.

I wasn't at the game but judging by the comments it was our strikers that cost of the 3 points today, not the defenders?

4,916 in attendance. Not good news.
4225 home fans, lowest since October 2015 for a Saturday league game.

I think VV was as frustrated as most of us with Hoskins final ball. I doubt Williams would have been any more effective. Agreed, Sammo was bang on as usual.

Fair result I'd say. In fact tranmere probably had the better chances.
Problem is we can't keep clean sheets so need to score 2/3 goals to win. We've always got a way of giving teams a goal.
Second problem is we are woefully lacking in wide areas and are not ruthless enough.
All this adds up to a season where we won't get near the top 10.

I take your point and you are probably right. As Sammo said opposition teams know if they can hang in there eventually our defence is likely to drop a clanger and gift them a goal.

We had plenty of chances today but didn't work their keeper enough, in fact Cornell was the busier of the two keepers.
Hoskins actually made some good runs with the ball but his end product was lacking as usual, a couple of crosses to nobody, a cross-cum-shot and a couple of runs down blind alleys. Too often knocked off the ball easily by their big full back. We persisted with the long diagonal balls to him though.....most of them he controlled well. His control for the one on one was poor though!
Foley did well in the middle, he's workmanlike without really looking exceptional. Crooks was an enigma, awful and lightweight first half, and much more involved in the second.
Foley and Buchs did ok, Pierre also, Taylor defended ok but passing poor as per.......Van Veen looked knackered and off the pace today, Morais did ok before he got injured.
Pretty obvious they came for a draw, with their time-wasting tactics, although Norwood looked lively up front, can see why he's got 6 in 6 now.
Bottom line is that we played ok despite no one player really standing out and taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Slightly above average but disappointingly couldn't beat a team who were two divisions below us last season.

Van Veen suffers from delusions of grandeur and was frustrated with bloody everybody. Hoskins fed him a perfect opportunity to get closer to his 20 goal target but he fluffed his lines.
