It looked like the lino on the East side flagged for offside, he had his flag raised.
Yes, definitely an offside flag

Spot on. We dominate teams without creating many clear cut chances. We waste possession so much in the final 3rd it's painful to watch.
You were more positive last season than you are now! In fact you seem to post negative comments at will; you had a fine record of commendable comments/opinions on here. Has there been a change in your life style which has inadvertently infliuenced how you generally react to (any) events? Toothache, Women ?

You try buying canned pumpkin anywhere in the Midlands... other than a certain shop in Coventry!

Couldn't understand at all what they had given from my position behind the goal. I got the impression he had given offside for one of the first couple of passes from the quickly taken corner.
On good authority, it was definitely for offside and on replay it was a good decision (for the officials and Tranmere)

Yes, he is being a misery but I don't see how it's any of yours, mine or anyone else's business why.

Thought as much. Normally I'm pretty balanced when it comes to offsides and instinctively look at the lino if I think a decision could be made but didn't even consider looking over to them for this. Frustrating but we'll get out rub of the green sooner rather than later.

Just being a tad concerned for a poster who is generally good for a read - sorry Wolvo wont happen again.

What we do need to do is drop Mr undropable (Taylor) and we will start keeping clean sheets.
I thought that was Hoskins! He never even gets subbed. Yes he's fast on the ball but rarely beats a man and his crosses are either over hit or straight at the nearest defender.

No, it's Taylor. I thought he had a better game against Tranmere other than his balls up with Facey that cost us two points.

Yes, Hoskins is very frustrating. He has so much of the ball and his final delivery is usually poor or he makes the wrong decision. That said, he is quick and gets in very good positions and has been involved in the build ups to several goals this season. He's always been a bit like this - despite his failings I think he plays because he fits the balance of the side. As for Crooks playing wide right, as has been mentioned here, personally I think it would be a total waste and would actually be far worse for the team. He's nothing like quick enough and our attacks on his side would become very pedestrian (a la JFH). Crooks is a central midfielder, and a good one, although it would be nice to see him put in a shift for the full 90 minutes. There are still times when he looks slow and even disinterested.

Hoskins is a poor mans Sterling, it's easy to get frustrated with his poor final ball but he gets in a good position with his pace and movement so much more often than the other options.
