If it's as bad a mistake was Tim O and Terry were making it out to be, surely it'll just be overturned again?

Risk is the FA do a Bayo and slap an extra game ban for "frivelous" appeal.

I know but I pay for Cobblers games. I don't give a toss about the Poopies, Diremonds, rugger etc..

Fair point. Sound quality was shocking too. Guess we are spoilt a little with tech nowadays.

I'm not sure that's a symptom of bipolar disorder

Here comes Sammo.

Happy with a point.  I think it was a good tackle (on Osman red card).  Same player, same tackle.  We will review it and if we have a case we will appeal. He is the key to our team. Showed great desire to defend.  we knew it would be difficult for last 20 minutes.

Even Vale website say it was a poor decision:
"The sending off seemed a bit harsh on the Northampton man and perhaps a yellow card would have been more apt in the circumstances.

The name of Anthony Griffith went into the referee's notebook on 87 minutes after a foul on Liam Davis. In truth it didn't seem much different from the one for which Osman was sent off for."

What can the club do though?  The lads who do it at home games are volunteers (who get slated for making an error I might add) and I doubt the club are in a position to pay them the neccessary expenses to travel to away games.  This leaves them with no option but to pick up the BBC RN feed.  Unfortunately what happened with the goal today highlights the problems caused by the station insisting on bouncing around the grounds.

Even if it is overturned he will still get a 1 match-ban for having received 2 red cards this season  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Reckon that's pushing our luck, already had one overturned this season.

If true that is absolutely disgusting and worthy of a torrent of abusive emails to The FA.

I'll await to see the incident, but it was such frustrating timing when it seemed like we may well push on for the winner. In the end a reasonable point, but we've gotta win our next two.

It looked to me to be similar to his previous one. Some indication that he left the ground but got the ball. Fingers crosses we'll appeal and win

I thought it was a great tackle but not surprised by the refs decision. We have the most red cards this season so even before a ball is kicked refs are all fired up when we play. Perhaps Abdul will want to re-evaluate his technique to enable him to play more games during a season. Obviously, if it's a charity match and Marvo is on the opposing side then carry on  Grin

Harsh from view, but can see why ref's gone and sent him off, overreacted and obviously felt to be the centre of attention yet again Roll Eyes From what i've seen i'd like us to appeal, but will see again later.

Today was quite frustrating as a whole, we could've won and we probably should've won but the red card turned the game totally

On the photos on the official site, looks as if Osman has been told that his prized motor has been crushed.
