I’d imagine the away end will sell out
I bet they can’t wait

They might have more there than us.

I’m away at the moment, but I’ve been thinking. Might it be best to postpone this until after this weeks takeover? I would imagine any extra income now won’t help the new owners in the slightest.

I was thinking of buying a gnome. Should I wait a bit?

The gnome (Ricky Gnomes) was only £20, that dwarfs in comparison to getting 1000 extra punters through the turnstiles.

Is that what they are calling it? I would have thought that they would have named it after on of our current players. Billy fishing Waters?

Not sure you could get another 1000 to Flaming go  Tongue although it would be nice to see the stands with not mushroom left in them. Tongue

I will be there, but have every respect for the stance taken by GPC and the rest of the 'usual suspects' (sic).

surely you have the pulling power over the performances of the team - get yourself the public attention that you crave and get this stadium rocking on saturday as we slump to a miserable defeat again

failing that, postpone it until you can get the name of the ground right

So will I.....Just hope that they put in a decent performance.A win will be very welcome but you do wonder. If some players put in a less than acceptable performance then I hope DA will have pre warned them of potential unrest. Poor old DA is on a song and a prayer. Bet '78 is having some problems with his "SelloutSixfields or PTS" campaign.  Protests sometimes fall flat - I remember the 2014 or was it 2015 'we want answers' protests which never quite took off.  Wonder how some on here will handle an unexpected win.

If we win, I'll be just that little less pissed off that I bought a Mansfield Town (a)* ticket, weeks back!  Grin

I would have thought the last thing the team needs right now is a stadium full of disgruntled fans getting on their back if thing start going wrong Saturday, save it for the new owners and manager

I think any 'movement' at the moment should be around giving Dean Austin some vocal backing.

I personally blame the shower of sh*t players, who seem well versed in media sound bites but lack basic effort on the pitch. You can cite Austin as the manager all you like but I reckon anyone is going to struggle to motivate a lot of them to put their bodies on the line. Given the chance I am sure he would can half of them.
This is without the background stuff, which must impact on his job role.

Far from being an Austin sympathizer, I feel compared to the likes JFH and some of his predecessors that he is getting some OTT stick. At least we have seen some half decent football attempted to be played at times.

We'll probably soon see who the next lucky candidate is to work their magic with this lot. How many times are we going to keeping axing the managers in the hope of some divine intervention?

We need KT out and to try and somehow connect with the fans again and establish some identity as a club. The past few years have just felt like death by a thousand cuts.

There’s a poke in your eye GPC. What’s your response?

We took DA to our hearts partly because he delivered some passion but mainly because we were pig sick of JFH.

Sadly, DA has been found just as wanting as the players (they're in it together IMHO) and his passion seems to have all but disappeared.

I very much doubt that the stadium will be full and why would we be disgruntled with a new owner and manager?

I suggest that you go back and read up on this, then you will come to a different conclusion.
