It was a query you could at least give a sociable answer. I have nixed feelings on your stance but appreciate the sentiment behind it.
There's more to my stance than what I put......I have had season tickets for the past few years but didn't bother this season......reasons were that I got bored with rubbish football in a rubbish ground, and my three kids lost a fair bit of interest....one of them gave up half way through the season. Plus we had "more fun" at away games, making the most of our free train travel and making a day of it!
I agree with whats been said....there must be more than just the manager at fault, however its almost always them who falls on their sword. Some of these players have not performed under four different managers now.....thats got to be more than just coincidence.
Not to say i'm happy with Austin in charge either....but you can only do so much.....players have the power, not managers, and its very hard to beat them into shape! Austin has failed sometimes with formations and line ups and has lost the passion he displayed a few short months ago.
The team and manager have to earn support (in my eyes)......and have nowhere to go when they are not performing....criticism is part and parcel of life, footballers should not be exempt from it.
I'm not sure why a new manager and new owners would get a stadium of disgruntled fans on their back though??? Can't make that one out!!
Its obvious to me we need changes, both on and off the pitch.....and I'm sure i'll welcome them when (if) they arrive......at least for a few weeks!!
