Apart from that what was the atmosphere like? Moans and groans?
Any booing?
Applauded off the pitch at half and full time?

If you listened to Dave savage he thought the support was excellent - personally I thought it was the usual apathy that we have grown to expect with a little bit of booing mixed in. There was a minute or two of chanting in the second half but it wasn't sustained as the "football" on show was so poor. As for being applauded off at half time there are always some seals around the tunnel who clap them regardless of what has happened.

Far less poisonous than it might have been. Yes, the players were applauded off.
I think Austin getting booked first half helped his cause today quite a lot. Not sure that will last though!

I thought the atmosphere was very quiet for large parts with a few bouts of singing/clapping but there wasn't much to get us going and Notts fans were very quiet too. The boos at the end were quite loud and perhaps a little surprising because it wasn't THAT bad today but I guess months of not winning or scoring many goals does that to a fan. The ref got plenty of stick too who was rank.

About right Wadey - its amazing how a few boos register so loudly. Behind me there was bloke with a real foghorn of a shout forever cursing the Ref. I remember him because he was so loud in his appraisal of said Ref. Perhaps the Boos were really aimed at the Ref? Certainly not at DA which was half a relief. Even so I thought we were the better side.

I loved it that them signing "Notts County" sounded like "Referee". i think we should encourage singing songs of support to the match officials.

It wasn’t a boo performance to be fair .
It was a clap if you feel like it performance .
Buchanan was appreciative as ever at the end but we should be better than this .
I say write off this season and let’s build for next .
As long as Strowbridge and Jackson don’t take control. That could mean The End .

Why will it be the end, what is your gripe with them?

Dont think it gets much more poisonous than the club captain telling fans to f*** off after berating him and cheering him slipping over and doing his groin in.
Certainly not doing a good job of endearing himself which all started with his claim that he's playing well.

Keeping Taylor in the side and as captain will eventually cost Austin his job. Even in the warm up John Stead was quite obviously their captain, leading them on and off the pitch. Ours has lost it.

That was one incident directed at an individual, not the team.
I'm a north stander and I'd agree Taylor's form is not what it was last season, but I didn't feel the need to berate or cheer when he did his groin.
Couldn't understand why he didn't go down to buy himself some time though.
