The trouble is, whoever the manager, many of the current crop of players are simply not good enough.
We are heading out of the league ...

Agreed about whoever the manager is BUT the players are good enough if the could give a sh*t, I think the time has come for us to let this lot of players know what we think of them. This is our club they are taking down but they don't give a sh*t about it, they will p*ss off somewhere else and pick up their wages without a second thought.

Agree totally with this. The players deserve both barrels.

There will be plenty who say "we should get behind them", and not shout abuse.......

Well i'm sorry, the fans have by and large been behind the bulk of the players for the past year/18 months......hasn't done them any good has it?

They're too comfortable, on long contracts, on decent money, and the usual suspects being picked week in week out.

The club is in freefall, the chairman is looking to bail out, the manager is useless and the players look like they don't give a toss........

I wholeheartedly agree its time the fans of this club vent their feelings to whoever will listen.......

But where’s the off field leadership.
What’s the chairman got to say?
What’s the plan going forwards?
Is there one?
Is there a future?

The club is drifting rudderless while everyone squabbles about land and what money can be made.
As fans we’ve been here before and we deserve better.
Much better.
Someone who wants the club to be successful for what it is
Someone whose main priority is the club not the land surrounding it.

If that person isn’t out there then it’s a sad indictment of our club, our county and football in general.
It’ll be time to switch off the lights after a hundred odd years.

If that comes to pass so be it but in many ways it would be no worse than having a succession of owners who care more about adjoining land than the proud history of our football club.

It’s all very well owners coming out with grandiose plans which never materialise but all the while the spectre of development land is in the background.

Would anyone actually want to own our football club if it wasn’t for a perceived great big carrot of land acuasition?

I don’t know but I’d love KT to come out and say I love this club and I want it to thrive, sod land acuasition that’s not why I came here,I want a club the county of Northamptonshire can be proud of.

Come on KT show us the CLUB comes first,if you do it will help invigorate things on and off the pitch because at the moment the fans need a boost.

Re the sqaud, rip it up and start again. None of them are playjng L2 standard football even if they think their better, there're simply not. Leeky defence, non potent strike force and absolutely no width, pace or service.

Tbh in my 25 years supporting the club this is the only point in that period where I wouldn't be fussed if we went out of business. So so tired of it all.

I think that they got the message today at full time.
If they didn't and there is no improvement next week it'll prove that they aren't bothered.

That’s where I am
It’s the continual merry go round and the current board need to recognise that ntfc fans have been long suffering and that ever since sixfields has been built so many promises have been unfulfilled,so many people have played the blame game, expectations have been dashed.....
It’s not just the current board it’s twenty odd years of it.....
Of course fans are sceptical given this background.

KT may have the best intentions for our club but personally I don’t feel he puts it over in the right way if this is the case.
All I’ve ever heard in the last couple of years is redevelopment and the blame game.
KT needs to realise that the previous incumbent also spent the majority of his time blaming councils/builders etc and basically an accumulation of this has left many fans at rock bottom a bit like the team.

I don’t blame the current board for the whole sorry state the club is in but it’d be nice to hear a rallying call,a plan going forwards,a future for the club.

As fans we need reassurance,a morale boost....
We aren’t getting anything
The impression is the club is rudderless and that is something KT is responsible for and something he can change if possible in order to lift the doom and gloom around the club.

Nail on the head Shoey. Nobody wants this club, they just want what is next door. I can recall Fashanu blatantly saying that was his desire, before the council wagged their finger.
Hope that your hospital visit went OK mate, and you feel better soon.

New manager bounce could play a part in the result of this game. We can hope for a draw I suppose.

I'd argue that they aren't. The majority came during the Great Chinese Investment of 2017/18 and none of them have performed anywhere near the levels anyone expected them to. We were relegated with barely a whimper last season and as a team they don't have the ability to take us back  up, despite the talk of "you look around the dressing room and see the quality of player we have...."

Defensively we are abysmal, showing a lack of desire or ability to close players down, stop crosses and leave players unmarked in and around the six yard box then wonder why we've conceded nearly 100 goals in 11 months of football, yet not one manager or coach or player in the club has the either the knowledge abilityto stop this.
