DA has made mistakes but he's a new manager and it's far too early to write him off. Does anyone really blame him for the performances of this bunch of chumps. Most teams can carry a couple of players that lack character assuming they have ability. Most of our players lack character so what can DA achieve with them?

I find it so easy to disagree with you! - I shudder to think what may have happened if  we followed Beds plan! By far the most important solution is to improve the playing side/results! Incidentally those with at least 50% BP don’t agree with you and Beds. Why do you think the Admin guys reject your theories.

So you also disagree with Barton. I was careful in what I said about Beds and said the theme of his comments is accurate, not the economics. By that I mean an under-performing club with a sub-standard stadium and facilities not properly exploiting its catchment area. Read what I write before making your predictable knee-jerk reactions.

Clearly, you have taken a great dislike to me. So be it.  You think in your simplicity that there is nothing wrong with the club that a couple of wins won't put right. Papering over the cracks is not remotely a solution and a very large number of supporters here and elsewhere recognise that there is a wider malaise.  Your default position is not to rock the boat and support the status quo.  So it follows from this that you are content with things as they are and specifically our current owners.  As to your comment that "Admin guys reject your theories" I haven't a clue what you are talking about.

I am absolutely p*ssed of with EVERYTHING about NTFC at the moment. The vast majority of the players are going through the motions and if things don't change we will go down. Kelvin needs to either get out or provide some leadership and tell the wasters to start earning their money ! Ash Taylor, your form HAS dropped so don't insult our intelligence by saying otherwise, I know it and YOU know it. But Taylor is not the only one, lots of others are not in the slightest bothered about the results, they DON'T CARE about NTFC.
It's time we let the players know that if they are not bothered they can f*ck off, I'd rather field the U18's team than the team of weak willed posers we have at the moment. This is OUR club, we will be here long after they have found out what it's like to have to work for a living.
I agree that DA could do better, especially with game management, but Klopp would do well to get this lot to perform. I was at Barnet after 8 players had been sacked and we played the youth team and at least they all put 100% in, I don't think that's happened at NTFC since CW left.
TIME TO STAND UP everyone otherwise see you in Braintree  Sad

It’s hard not to disagree with you R.  Perverse as it sounds I would do everything I could to encourage the team. Clearly some hard talking needs to be done during the coming week. This is were DA comes in - I hope.

I don’t  dislike you at all - never met you anyway! I don’t disagree with big R; it’s hard not to! I merely don’t subscribe to your theories on the Redev that’s all. Anyway post away

Agreed, although I disagree with Beds' decision to post the same thing half a dozen times a day every day infecting every thread.

Which is part of DA's job, so he IS responsible to the extent of making his players battle and fight. He's also said that he wouldn't change his squad for anyone else's in the division. He can't be held responsible for our almost unbelieveable ability to miss golden edged chances, but the attitude of a team is largely a reflection of the manager and our defending has never been right since he became manager.

He hasn't said that recently has he?
The defending has been woeful for a long time now, well before DA arrived.

There’s few things I love about your posts Ralph.. There is never any hint of sarcasm, or resignation about them. And.. You can guarantee a post from Alton will follow 😀😀

Never give up. Leave that to me. Even I’m out of it these days. I only catch the odd game at the moment mate..

Grin We’re compatible stalkers mate. You should get one, oh hang on... Grin

I obviously don’t want to go down Nige but if we do I can’t see why it shouldn’t be an enjoyable adventure. And mark my words my friend, if we do go down and eventually promoted back the promotion season itself will be such a party season to remember with loads of us at relatively smaller grounds. It just might be the thing that rekindles the passion of so many fans we have lost or are losing. Look at the likes of Lincoln or Hereford, they’re having a great time. Lincoln had something like 1200 fans at Mac on Saturday!

It was a long old slog for Lincoln in the Conference tho. Wouldn't wish what happened to Hereford with Agombar on anyone. I love non league football but our league status needs to be protected at all costs imo. Well most costs!

Couldn't agree more mate. I can't process any more of it at the moment. I have my season ticket. But if someone tells me they are boiling their kettle or having their hair cut, I would pop round there to watch it at the moment rather than carry on in the same vein.

I blame Chris Wilder to a degree. I loved that season so much. I know they can't all be like that. Like you I have stood on the coal bank at Crewe. Dodged the pi$$ on the Hotel End and run around Abington Park after the scum. But football is more like Westminster than Wembley these days. The characters have gone and the pseudo city boys are suited up and ready to tell us what we need. You know that I spend all week in that environment. But I'm a doer. I like to see something positive in return for my love and loyalty. Perhaps I'm not of this time. But I'm proud of that. I'm happy to put in the hours, do the leg work, if there's something to aim for and enjoy. But when you Roger and plenty of others on here asking for a resolution, or even some sign of anything that resembles hope... Well; you know we are all getting to the end of our tether.

Winters coming (a bit game of thrones I know). The bike will be locked away soon. Give me something NTFC.... Anything. But just make it the truth......

All does not appear to be well aboard the good ship Cobblers at the moment.

And another week of looking forward to stage managed soundbites from NTFC social media and constant plugging of all things none NTFC first team related news (charities, woman's football etc...) to deflect away from the failings on the pitch

Time to stand up and walk out...

Let KT, the council and all the other bastards before them fight over the land. They can flatten Shitfields and be gone with the whole embarrassment.

Get some jumpers for goal posts and start again Wimbledon style. At least all the people around would be genuine and probably have a smile on their face again.

Get a few leagues up the pyramid again and share Franklins. Fuck em all I say.

What about our less able or infirm fans?

Also what size jumpers? On the jumpers it would be best to state the size from the offset even though some will want them to be bigger.
