Quite right when you appear to forget vV entirely.

Your precious Van Veen would be nowhere near my football team.

He will be yours if he scores the winner at Mansfield

Van Veen did seem to be one of those putting in real effort on Saturday, as he has done in the last two or three games...a JJOT turn around on the cards?

It was far from easy like some suggested though.

He did very well to create the chance in the first place. He seems to want to score belters and just leathered it rather than looking up and placing it. With him it's a belter or shocker. Sadly on Satdee it was the latter.

I thought he tried to smash it into the roof of the net, thinking that was the only way he was going to get it past the keeper from that angle.
Sadly, his projection was a little high.

I see that none of the ex Cobblers play for Mansfield anymore. Joel Byrom, Alfie Potter, Zander Diamond and Paul Anderson have either moved on or no longer play. We have no players on our books who have played for them.

Compared with the Tranmere goal I would suggest it was easy, but every opportunity is different so I would not be quick to judge.

You mean their goal? Maybe. I've just had another look and VVs was at a better angle and more of a miss than I had first thought.

Different Danny Rose, the one that played for us is still at Portsmouth.

I think Van Veen is doing well at the moment, yes he's missed 2-3 decent opportunities but his overall play has been good as his work-rate. I think he will score on Saturday.

Any predictions for the game? Despite everything I actually feel optimistic and think we will win 2-1. Van Veen and O'Toole to score.
