Looked more like a shove in the back by Mullin on Hall, meaning Hall got the first contact.
It was even more noticeable how easy it was for Morecambe to get the balls across for the second and third goals.

I thought that initially but the lack of complaints from Hall makes me think he weren't shoved

Having seen the highlights on the internet and been within 25 feet of the actual incident with a direct view I am certain that Hall was shoved in the back by the Morecambe forward to cause him to bundle the ball over his own line. The Referee had a clear view of it and might have given a free kick for pushing but I guess that is debatable. Hall should perhaps have already put his right foot through the ball and cleared it.

The defending towards the end of the game was shaky to say the least.

I just watched the highlights and my initial view that Johnson was at fault for the second two goals was about right.  The second goal he and Thornton seemed to mark no-one in particular and allowed the attacker the freedon of the park to get a cross in, the third goal was almost identical this time involving Johnson and Rodgers.  It seems to be a basic lack of organisational skills. The full back should cover the winger, the midfielder the lay off man, and the central defenders should mark the strikers.
