Funny how Crooks is amazingly fit again now austin has been sacked! He maybe our best player but his certainly someone you would not want next to you in the trenches.
Crooks' injury was supposedly nothing more than a minor knock so it's hardly surprising he's now fit. Hadn't he played every league game this season before Saturday anyway? Happy to be corrected. He's also had a few very good games so far. Also apart from Van Veen isn't he our only player to score more than 1 goal this season? Without his 2 goals Austin would likely have been sacked before Saturday anyway. There are many more culpable for Austins sacking than Crooks IMO, including funnily enough Austin himself. |

You would think he would have been at Mansfield, unless it all really did happen between 22.00 on Sunday and 15.00 on Monday.
I wonder who will be in goal- should be interesting. |

Tranmere just signed Ryan Williams too  We could of had 2 Williams free transfers to slot in on opposite flanks. |

Interesting team selection. Sure up the defence with 5. Makes sense. Bit of pace in the wing backs (assuming Powell and Facey).
Presumably a 532 with what I would consider the best midfield 3 in the league.
Looks a strong team, but Hoskins and Powell are the ones that I worry about and need to step up. Hard luck for Buchs though.
