Oh Lord! Was realistically hoping for Gary Bowyer...though there of course was no guarantee at all that he'd of signed for us!
Doubly worse, as now he's an even more realistic option for #carcrash2 down the A43!

Won more games than he lost in his last two jobs. I don't particularly like the bloke but if he gets us winning then it's fine by me.
This. Cannot stand the man but if he brings results then for now it doesn't matter.

How many jobs has keith Curle had?

Let's get behind Curle, he may have upset us in the past with his comments but now he's our manager and we need to get behind him. Carlisle fans rated him.

I reckon he'll do alright for us. Certainly won't be worse than Austin.

It's got nothing to do with not liking him. I just don't see him turning us into any kind of force. I hope I'm wrong.

Curle just said what so many managers also did that season and try and deflect attention away / discredit us from a comprehensive win.

I am so pissed off with that appointment.

Not that managers have ever proven to deliver what their CV says, but this bloke in my eyes is the least inspiring choice of manager I can ever recall. At least some of the other idiots (at the time of their appointment) brought some excitement, a little hope if you like. But this guy is mediocre all over.
At a time where we have pretty much hit rock bottom moral wise (within the support), KT has somehow managed to make things even worse. Im not even going to try and gloss over this appointment...its a rubbish one. Im gutted. It shows where we currently are, if we didn't know already. A league2 football club trying to scrap our way to survival with a bog standard, league2 journeyman manager. With no intention of sorting any of the off the pitch issues out anytime soon.

No, don't give a Jack about that - despite being at Carlisle that day! More underwhelmed and certainly unsure if he has the credentials and fire to do what Wilder did in saving us! If you look at the NTFC site, typically lauds his achievements but like any CV, the missing dates, stats and info have to be explained! However, a fire in the belly, save us THEN PROGRESS...is fine by me!

Calm down and give the bloke a chance. You said it the least inspiring choice but what did the more inspiring choices do - nothing.

Nothing to do with what he said about Northampton. I have my reasons for not liking him but if he does well I'll be behind him.

Coolcat and Jolly. If its not something you've said. Why do you think I'm talking about you?
Its not hard to find people who HAVE said it.

Managerial appointments will always divide opinion. I was alright with all the failures. This one Im not. Maybe the reverse will happen. But at this point in time Im struggling to wag my Cobblers tail.
