What was the consensus on Buchs at left wing back? Sounds like his set piece delivery was pretty poor?

Numerous ?  3 I can recall
Ok just checked the highlights again, it’s five opportunities created including his shot from a tight angle. That I believe is numerous, especially with this bunch

And from the other 10?

How many corners have we scored from this season , we tried something different and it worked, wanna go back to hitting the first man or clearing everyone ?

Plus his 'one on one' was a good save by the keeper.

Draw away at a side placed 11th and went for the win. Defensively good by all accounts and without Taylor. Is Cornell starting to win his doubters around, crucial saves again? Very good start by Curlio and we’ll done all round.
Don't think it's any secret I've had my grave doubts about Cornell, but he's definitely saving more shots than he did before. There looked to be one excellent save yesterday too on the highlights.

If he can cut out some of those errors like in the Mansfield game, which undid a lot of his good work, and we start to see him keeping more clean sheets then I will be delighted because ultimately if he's doing well then it's likely that team will be doing well Smiley

1 in 10 is still pretty awful. I would still prefer a proper delivery first time around rather than messing with a short corner and losing the ball which hapoend on the other 9 occasions. It did come a bit predictable doing it every single corner, why not mix it up.

Less the 4% of corners result in a goal. That’s 1 in 25

Once again , some on here would rather see their prejudices come to fruition than deal in facts .
Cornell has possibly been our most consistent , stand out player this season...... and yet some would rather pick him out as a weakness in a sea of more pertinent faults within the team .
Try looking at how ruthless we are in front of goal . The Williams miss was a shocker .
Glad to see KC shake it up though and three at the back suits our squad so much better even though the wing backs are square pegs in round holes

I'm there to be shot at I suppose, but I personally think that RWB could be a perfect fit for S. McWilliams.

Great energy, tenacity, some pace to get himself out of trouble if necessary, and he can make a pass or two.

Whether he can cross a ball effectively or not isn't overly relevant right now, as he wouldn't be any worse than what we have currently.

What's others opinions on this?

Doesn't his brother play in that position too?

ANOTHER one on one

I know, but at least this wasn't straight at the keeper.

Cameron McWilliams was playing right back against man Utd in pre season and was superb. I think the rwb role would suit him well. Might be worth a try against Oxford.

It’s a shame we’re not so blessed for options at left wing back.

Last I heard he was injured.

Now what's the word I'm looking for?
You give no credit to Cornell Hoskins but think Hoskins Cornell does a good job...I think 'twat' is what I'm looking for!

There aren't doubters for us who actually travel to watch them!

There are also plenty of words for people who believe they speak for absolutely everyone who goes to an away game.

I'll be nicer than you and use self righteous.

Not at all. Variety is good.

Short corners where the ball never makes it into the box is as inexcusable as corners hitting the first man.

We don't have a specialist, but it should be something pretty easy to work on at the training ground.
