Videos are closest to appointment I could find. As a side note it’s interesting how the demeanour changes at the back end and how some make embarrassing decisions. JE disappeared into the dug out, DA went on a rant only to contradict it all a day or so later, and Rob Page took the Wales under 21 job. Pathetic!

Get someone who is better qualified to make the big decisions.

Ridiculous and pointless survey which I haven't bothered answering. At the time JFH was appointed we were a League 1 club soon to be on the up (thanks to the sizable 5USport cash injection. Yeah, I know). We are now a struggling League 2 club. It's a different world and calls for different planning. The only one I absolutely, definitely, would not have employed was Rob Page. Giving him control of such a good squad, its a course of action which still confuses the hell out of me.

Granted, nor would I, however I would defend Page in that the squad he inherited wasn't the one that Wilder left...

It’s easy to be wise after the event but he was an young up and coming manager with League One experience. What position were we when he was deemed not good enough?

Isn't that the problem with KT? He isn't!

Don’t talk wet, it’s brilliant and to be expected from the most insightful individual on here, me obviously.

Despite it being pointless, I really appreciate the fact that you (and my former mate DC) have taken the time and trouble to comment on it rather than just ignore it? It’s an interesting take that a managers first interview is relative to the teams league position and status. Presumably when we make it to the Prem, any new manager coming in to the club will skip into the interview blowing a trumpet and throwing confetti in the air? Yes, that is the level, sarcasm. Anyway that’s a point DC, didn’t you just have a pop at Evers for commenting on the quality and content of people’s posts? Cheek!

I think Justin Edinburgh, minus Melville & the magic dosh, would have done the trick for us.
Aside from that, Sammo with Malcom Crosby would have made it happen all those years back. They just needed to sort out the loss of Tadhg Purcell before he'd really kicked a ball (Bayo's replacement - Bayo really f@cked us over - "Yes, I'll sign a new contract.... ooops, just signed elsewhere at the last minute", leaving the new season plans in tatters), and the mess that was Shaun Harrad (Purcell's replacement).
(Before anyone bleats about Corby..... Do you really know what happened there, and how Sammo was hung out to dry by some very sharp knives?)
(Love Bayo? Remember how he f@cked us over on his contract promises?)
Between them (Sammo-Crosby), they got a quart out of some pint-pot players. (Just check where they all went to after Anfield).
But, I am now exstatic about being a Curley Cobbler!!!!!!
