Have they found anything more interesting, or just down the pub?
Trains too difficult was the official line!

Not too bad nowadays, since the A46 from the M1 right to Lincoln is dual carriageway apart from a section around Newark.

...and Woking always take more than one man and a dog! Needs to scrutinize his extremely Lincoln biased stats a little closer!
I'll go 6,238 (594 Cobbs)
Pretty much spot on! Few Cobblers on the the 6.30pm back. Gutted!

We haven't missed out on much really. Carlisle at home in the second round not exactly mouth-watering but would have been a good chance of making it to the 3rd round. Oh well. A weekend off on 1st December instead. Can concentrate on putting up the Christmas decs instead.

Hope Carlisle batter them. They'll probably beat them and get Man U away.

Don't think we would have been ball number 18 (Lincoln's). It's done in alphabetical order for the league teams.

Ball numbers would have been the same, the winner of our tie as always going to be number 18. No alphabetical order...Accrington Stanley are number 25 and Woking are number 7 for example.
Carlisle at home wasn’t the most mouthwatering tie, but I’m sure KC would have looked forward to it, as would KT with £54,000 prize money on offer and a lucrative third round tie to possibly follow.

Hadn't thought about that! Will be at the replay next Tuesday (and a couple of us NTFC at Dulwich this Sat). I'll pass on your concerns!

Yes GPC, I stand corrected it wasn't done in alphabetical order.

In any event the butterfly effect would have meant a completely different draw had we drawn the game.
