Billy Paynter has decided to quit the County ground for a Bosman move to Leeds United on a 3 year deal. I was expecting Swindon to struggle this year after they sold Simon Cox but they found a decent replacement in Paynter finding some form without his old strike partner. Now that they have neither I'm putting them down as a relegation favourite for definite. Leeds sign Paynter

To be fair to Swindon, they managed to replace Cox's goals with Charlie Austin who had an outstanding first season in the Football League. If they can do the same with Paynter I don't see no reason why they can't do the same next year.

I think they have more than enough money with the sponsors of EA, Samsung and FourFourTwo to adequately replace any player!
