Hello all,
It's Marc, the Cobblers Show presenter from BBC Numpty. I come in peace!
The chairman has agreed to come on the show tonight between 6 and 7pm and I would like as many (clean) questions as possible, please?
I won't be able to check the forum all the time, so if you have any questions, can you tweet them to me @marcwebber or @bbcnorthampton and I will try my best to put them to him.
Andy Williams is also in.
Cheers

Would you sell the club Kelvin to someone that offered the asking price but had no interest in football whatsoever ? If the answer is “no” what would you do to ensure the club’s interests are at heart rather than the money to be made from the property acquisition ?

It would be nice to have an update on potential investors in the Club.

Not on Twitter so my question to KT is, have any of the prospective purchasers got to a stage where it could be completed before the end of the year? It would enable Mr Curle a clearer January window.
In your discussions do they intimate that they would complete the East Stand, which you have not been able to achieve?

I would imagine that the reason he’s agreed to this as well as the podcast is either that he’s got big news on the takeover or alternatively it’s going to be the same old recycled soundbites and a discreet public reminder that we’re for sale. My money’s on the latter.

I would have a mortgaged sized bet it’s the latter ! KT is extremely good at answering nothing of significance - which is a great skill.

I'm not on twitter, so if someone would kindly forward this: Is it solely the club which is up for sale, or does the sale include the (CDNL) leases for the expanse of land beyond the borders of the East Stand?

Would you accept £2 million for the club and the rights to the land ? Would you sell the club for £1 without the land rights ?

With the benefit of hindsight would he have brought the club and what was the motivation for doing so given he’s a businessman and there was an obvious considerable financial risk involved?

If KT was manager for the day who would be his first 4 names on the Team sheet for this Saturday?

The standard of Radio Saints usual tepid questioning doesn't help, forever afraid to ask the bloke anything likely to irk him.

What you mean something like “You claim to have been frustrated by the legal issues surrounding the land/east stand. Are you suggesting that you took on a huge financial commitment with significant risks attached and there were fundamental failings regarding diligence from your legal representation who assisted with the purchase contracts”? Or were you aware of the issues from the start, meaning the delays to the development were not entirely unexpected? Alternatively our journalistic representative from the BBC could ask him to sing his favourite chant from the terraces? Mines “what a waste of money” but only when referring to the license fee.

Did KT vote Remain or Leave? Also, (just quickly) what is his favourite colour?

It's a bit strange that he likes that chant given that it's predominantly been directed towards our support by opposition fans over the last couple of seasons. Some of that interview reminded me of the Theresa May interview where she said her favourite memory was running through fields of corn when she was a girl.
