Can i offer a mention to  Odoffin for today's performance , he's got a handful of league game experience , been caught out in a few games brought in the team then bombed out , ut I thought today he really stood up looked strong and imposing, didn't look out of place at all  against a brute of a chap who will probably end up in the Championship next season

Fair play to Curle, that was a big call,  but fair play to that man Dolphin !!

Was Razor was actually there ? So perhaps typical prejudicial comment when we have a disappointing result.

It would be lovely if, whenever someone voices an opinion on a player that you disagree with, you wouldn't come up with the line "Were you there ?"   Smiley

I thought that he did well yesterday, although he was assisted by having Turnbull and Pierre either side of him. Together, the back three did a good job.

Agreed! Shaky first 5 minutes but then some excellent defending. The three of them, four if you add Cornell, were certainly responsible for keeping the score down.

Not in my opinion & perhaps if some of our miserable fans encouraged players, they might perform for us rather than doing it when they move to another club where fans can see beyond the end of their noses

Just said on another thread that I thought he did alright.  Very shaky start in an unfamiliar position.  As others say massively helped by the players either side of him but I thought he grew in to the game well.  Competed, tackled, blocked shots, won headers basically all you would want from a defender.

He's clearly a very raw prospect but has a lot of attributes to like and plenty to work with.

Not  in for a argument Not for the first time you miss the point. If Razor made an opinion based on what he saw on the day that’s fine. Off the cuff prejudicial comment about a player who on the day actually was not too bad seems a bit OTT. Perhaps Razor can clarify his comment on Dolphin? I like fair minded criticism provided there is an element of hope somewhere!

Odoffin 20, Turnbull 23, Pierre 25, Cornell 27.
Not a bad back four for potential long term after their performances yesterday.

Can’t believe people are criticising Odoffin, he was up against a brute of a player and stuck to his task all game never shirking a challenge or header and in my eyes came out of that game with a lot of credit. I have been critical of him in past matches, but certainly not yesterday.

Curle showed some real nous, switching Odoffin and Turnbull early on ....we looked a lot better as a defensive unit thereafter

You are right and I should have opened up with the fact that he needed to grow into the game for me making the whole thing more impressive . You are wrong though with suggest the fella had a point though , because , well , he didn't

To suggest Dolphin will never be a footballer in a million years says more about Razor than it does about Dolphin
